21 Abr 2017

(Spain, SoloAzar Exclusive) .- Following the completion of the last edition of Fer.Interazar, SoloAzar spoke exclusively with Eric Benchimol, CEO of Win Systems, company that exhibited its products in the stand of EGASA, its exclusive distributor of game machines and electronic roulette in Spain. "The public response has been very positive for the whole range of products," the executive said.

How was your participation in the Madrid show and what products did you present?

This year we participated in the International Game Fair at the EGASA stand, our exclusive distributor of electronic gaming machines and roulettes in Spain.

We had the opportunity to present the S2 machine model, which offers a wide variety of games as well as the innovative electronic roulette Lumina and Clover that have adaptive lighting technology.
We also exposed our comprehensive solution for the management of WIGOS™ casinos; Intellia™ a business intelligence tool and WinUp™ an application designed for the casino to be in contact with its players
Our goal was to demonstrate how we can offer a complete and comprehensive solution that benefits all operators.

What response did you get from the visitors?

The response of the public has been very positive for the whole range of products.
Numerous visitors learned first-hand the benefits of Win Systems´ exclusive distribution of gaming machines and electronic roulettes with EGASA. This synergy allows operators to easily integrate high-end machines and roulettes into their own rooms.
We bet that our multichannel offer will benefit our operators, since they experience a saving of costs and resources. The industry has emphasized above all this quality.

In company experience, how did you see the show this year?

It was a very big show with a lot of audience. The most important companies of the sector were there to present their products. Satisfactorily we excel thanks to our highly innovative products.
The Spanish game industry has gone very far in the last decade.

What are the plans and objectives for this 2017?

Win Systems is preparing for an intense and busy year. We want to actively consolidate our position in jurisdictions where we are already strong, such as Latin America and Europe. We are also looking to penetrate new markets. Asia is a particularly interesting market and is part of our target for 2017. We are proud of our growth and continue to work hard on developing new products to remain at the forefront of the industry.

How do you see the game market in Spain? And in the rest of Europe?

Our experience in Spain in recent years has been very positive. A strong regulatory framework has allowed strong growth in the sector. The land-based world has had the advantage of developing longer than its iGaming and sportsbook colleagues, but it has been encouraging to see the industry expanding for all sectors. We are optimistic about our position and capacity for growth in the coming years. Some European countries have decided to change the regulation in the last period and this has generated a sustainable growth for the industry. Countries like Romania and Italy have done so and from Win Systems we follow closely the whole region in search of any opportunity of expansion.

How do economic crises affect the gaming market?

Economic crises do not affect the game market too much. Our goal is to maintain our broad client base and generate new business opportunities. We are concerned with knowing the government´s policy and regulatory frameworks in each region, and we always prefer to work with our legislators to ensure that the political environment around the gambling industry is stable.
Online gambling is growing both in Spain and in the rest of the world. To what extent or how does this affect the physical gambling halls?
According to my experience, there has been an insignificant impact on casino floor traffic due to the growth of online gambling. I think everyone appeals to a different customer base, and I would say that the land-based casino player is generally very loyal to the actual casino environment. We are attentive to developments in the online sector since our goal is always to provide the latest technologies and products to our customers.
