"We met all our key customers at G2E"

(Las Vegas, SoloAzar Exclusive).- In the framework of Global Gaming Expo 2017, held this week in Las Vegas, SoloAzar spoke exclusively with Eduardo Aching, Vice President of International Sales Konami, who commented on the new products that the company presented in this edition of the show.



What are the novelties that Konami is exhibiting this year in G2E?

In this edition of G2E the key to us is the expansion of the Concerto machine family. Last year we had only Upright and Slant, and this year we launched two more models: Stack and Crescent. And in the next six months we are going to launch the Concerto Opus. In addition to this, we are bringing a product that nobody saw and is very innovative: the Beat Square, which had a magnificent customer reception.

What are the company´s plans for the rest of the year?

The most important focus is to show customers the products that we have here, the existing content. We are looking for new solutions for the future, but we have to keep current products to the maximum. That´s why we show customers once again how many games will be coming in the coming months. This year is a pretty good year for Konami fortunately.

How do you see the show?

The fair days were full of people. There were all the key customers and those who always visit us were here, from Europe, Latin America, the Caribbean, Asia, Australia ... all international customers this year had a strong presence here.

What does G2E mean to Konami?

The main objective in G2E is the opportunity to thank all our customers, who help us to grow and we help them to grow them too. That is the number one goal: gratitude, support. In addition, we try to show here the path that Konami is following with its products, we have to show the customer that konami continues to invest in new products and development so that they have security of the investment that they made.

What is the next show in which the company will participate?

Next month we are in SAGSE Buenos Aires after a couple of years, and a big news is that we have a new distributor.

How do you see the Argentine market?

The Argentine market, I think, is regaining stability. I think that Argentina in general has grown again, things are improving a lot there and the operators think they feel safer to re-invest.
