GAT Expo Cartagena Brings Together Global Brands, Continental Authorities, and Leading Entrepreneurs

GAT Expo Cartagena will begin with a high-level academic agenda on Tuesday, March 24, followed by the commercial exhibition on March 25 and 26, accompanied by strategic networking designed to position Colombia as the spearhead of the GAT Events 2026 Circuit, which will tour the continent with stops in Mexico City, São Paulo, San Juan, Bogotá, and Santo Domingo.

GAT Academy: regulatory analysis from Las Vegas to Argentina, economic outlook, and business sustainability in the region
The day of conferences and panels on March 24 in the La Niña Hall of the Las Américas Convention Center will present an innovative academic program led this time by Fecoljuegos, headed by its president Evert Montero. From 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., a comprehensive agenda of strategic analysis will update the audience on current regulatory frameworks from North America to the Southern Cone, through authorized spokespersons and industry experts.

For the first time, GAT Expo Cartagena will feature, from the Colombian public sector, the presence of Gregorio Eljach Pacheco, Attorney General of the Nation, who will send attendees a message of confidence in the institutions and the country’s legal framework in a key electoral year for democracy.

From the business sector, Daniel Velandia, Managing Director of Research and Chief Economist at Credicorp Capital, a financial group operating in Colombia, Peru, and Chile, will deliver the keynote lecture “Economic Outlook 2026.”

The president of Coljuegos, Marco Emilio Hincapié, will give the opening conference, reaffirming the Colombian regulator’s commitment to a modern, supervised sector backed by regulations that are setting the standard in the region.

One of the academic highlights of this edition will be the international lecture by Brian Krolicki, Vice Chairman of the Nevada Gaming Commission, who will present “Lessons from Nevada’s Regulatory Model for Latin America.”

The March 24 agenda will also address the role of associations as operators’ spokespersons before governments and the challenges they face as representatives of an ecosystem that contributes to social development and combats illegal gambling. Associations participating include FECOLJUEGOS, AIEJA, SONAJA, ALEA, CORNAZAR, FEDELCO, and APOJA.

Specialized panels will analyze topics such as technological innovation, traceability, control, sports integrity, and match-fixing prevention, with the participation of DIMAYOR (Colombian Professional Football Division). This panel will be moderated by Germán Segura, General Manager of BetPlay.

March 25–26, 2026: Commercial exhibition in stands
The Santa María halls of the Las Américas Convention Center will transform into a grand casino showcasing the latest land-based technology in slots and cabinets, bringing together leading manufacturers and developers of solutions for the on-site segment, led by Novomatic, Aristocrat, Merkur Gaming, Win Systems, Alfastreet, R. Franco, SpinTec, Gambee, and Royal Gaming—companies driving the evolution of casinos and gaming halls in Latin America and worldwide.

In the field of technological platforms, sports betting ahead of the World Cup, certification laboratories, specialized software, and comprehensive solutions are also part of the GAT Expo Cartagena universe. Pragmatic Play, BetPlay, Reelink, BetConstruct, Prometeo, Oklahoma, GLI, Betby, Golden Race, Amusnet Interactive, Gamanza Group, Betting Software, DS Virtual Gaming, Zalni, JCM Global, Automated Transactions, Aprotech, Colinktek, RPCOL, ASAP Americas, EGV, GATEL, Play Group, and Fininvest consolidate the convergence between land-based gaming and the digital environment.

The offering is complemented by financial solutions and payment methods such as TumiPay, as well as institutional actors like the Cundinamarca Lottery and strategic allies such as Carta Mundi and BYADS, creating a comprehensive ecosystem that reflects the strength and maturity of the regional market.

A space of cohesion for the Latin American industry
GAT Expo Cartagena 2026 reaffirms its professional and technical character with an emphasis on the land-based market, promoting an integration scenario at a decisive moment for the sector: strengthening regulatory frameworks in favor of legal gaming, business sustainability, and the accelerated adoption of new technologies that protect both players and operators.

José Aníbal Aguirre, CEO of GAT Events, comments: “GAT is the Latin American circuit par excellence. We are Latin organizers, we know the industry in each of our markets, and we promote meetings that strengthen regional entrepreneurs with a global vision. Cartagena has a unique magnetism, in a B2B event with C-level executives determined to invest or grow in the region. I invite you not to miss out and to experience impactful networking by sea and land. We still have spaces and strategies available to make your brand shine.”

With more than 26 years of experience, GAT continues to consolidate its leadership as a benchmark platform for institutional dialogue, technological updates, and business development in Latin America.
