Novomatic presented its new developments in FADJA

(Bogota, Exclusive SoloAzar).- Manuel Del Sol, Managing Director of NOVOMATIC Gaming Colombia, was interviewed by SoloAzar during FADJA, in which the firm showcased its new product collection, including its latest range of cabinets, brand new links and content. The Novomatic Interactive division Greentube also presented interactive options for the market. "We understand that the online sector in Colombia is an alternative market which is growing and has a big potential," Del Sol affirmed.

"This year at FADJA, we are presenting the new product collection of Novomatic, introducing the new Novomatic developments available in Colombia and surrounding markets. FADJA continues to be a very important exhibition for Novomatic every year to meet with customers and present our latest products for the region," affirmedDel Sol.

"The Novomatic portfolio is wide-ranging, and we have made a selection we think will be very attractive for Latin America," said Del Sol. "A standout product at FADJA is the new THUNDER CASH™ Link, making its premiere in the region, on a bank of PANTHERA™ 2.27 cabinets. New single games and multi-game mixes are also being presented for the first time in the region and have been well received by visitors to our stand.”

"New games we are excited to be presenting at FADJA include Lucky Lady’s Wild Spell™ on the PANTHERA Curve 1.43, which highlights the popular Lucky Lady character with a new Wild feature. Also, we have a variety of new themes like Emperor’s China™, The Great Conqueror™, Empress of the Pyramids™ and Asian Dragon™ hot,”he added. “We are also showcasing the brand new Impera Line™ HD Edition 7 game mix, following the successful introduction of Edition 6 at FADJA last year.

When consulted about the importance of Colombia for the company, he commented: "I believe that we are among the main countries in Latin America, and the region is having an increasing importance for the group."

He then made an evaluation about the show: "We already have a commercial presence in Colombia but each year FADJA allows us to expose the potential of the new products and the development capacity of the group. The interest has been great and there has been a lot of focus on the new line of cabinets, games and links. At FADJA, we feature a condensed display of what we have already presented at ICE London, two months later to the Colombian market."

The firm has received visitors mostly from Colombia, as well as a few customers from the Caribbean, Ecuador and Peru.

When commenting on the current situation of the national market, he said that it faces two big difficulties: illegality and an excessively high tax. "If both issues were controlled, the market would develop much more," he remarked.

He then analyzed the next steps for Novomatic: "We are starting to work strongly on the online market in Colombia, and our online division Greentube is already providing content to one of the big online gaming platforms in the country. We understand that the online sector in Colombia is an alternative market which is growing and has a big potential. This is an exciting opportunity for the group, as we can offer the popular Novomatic content to customers across multiple channels."

"We work on the land-based market with more products and more technology, and we think that the next step of the market is more investment in technology in casinos, and, on the other hand, in the online market, because it is a new business that is in its infancy," he concluded.

The American Gaming Trade Show has become an effective marketing tool for manufacturers and casino operators from Colombia and the International market of the games of chance. The 21th edition will be held, once again, at Corferias exhibition center, in Bogota, and counts with 5,000 sqm for the booths’ exhibiting area.
