´We will keep releasing at least one innovative new game every month´- Vera Motto, Habanero

(London, SoloAzar Exclusive).- After the latest edition of CasinoBeats Slots Festival, SoloAzar interviewed exclusively Vera Motto, Business Development Executive at Habanero, about her experience at the virtual event and Habanero’s plans for 2021.

How was your experience at the CasinoBeats Slots Festival?

The CasinoBeats Slots Festival was a fantastic experience for us, providing a welcome chance to connect with colleagues from across the industry, generating a number of high-quality leads along the way.

We were able to put our content in front of a range of top operators, as well as garnering insights from key industry leaders around the latest trends in slot development and delivery.

Suffice to say, it’s been a challenging period across the board, and the slot market is no exception, but having attended such a fantastic event, we’re looking to the year ahead with renewed optimism. It’s all about bringing the industry together, whether that be online or in-person, and we congratulate SBC on their excellent efforts.  

What were the expectations and what was the result?

Live streaming sessions were a personal highlight, offering a great chance to find out more about what players think of our content – with Totem Towers and Scopa receiving particularly enthusiastic reviews. We design our games to be a hit the world over, so I’m really pleased that we appeal to such a diverse audience.  

Attendance was very strong, and although nothing can fully replace the face-to-face conversations you have at offline networking events, we commend the innovation and proactivity demonstrated by our friends at SBC for organising such a fantastic alternative.

We can’t wait to catch up with colleagues in-person when it is safe to do so, but until then we hope to get involved with other digital events – especially those which are as strong as the CasinoBeats Slots Festival.

What products did the company present?

We presented a range of different Habanero hits, including one my personal favourites, Totem Towers, as well as Scopa, which we are in the process of certifying for several LatAm markets.

The former title takes players on a Mayan-themed escapade through a pre-Conquistador rainforest. Along the way, Free Games and mystical Multipliers are waiting to be discovered by players with the gods on their side, so it’s a must-try for those in search of an all-action entertainment experience.

Jackpot RacesTM, meanwhile, has been a fantastic engagement booster for operators, including our partners based in the LatAm markets. The tool fuses the logic of a poker-style pot with ‘must-drop’ pay-outs, and it’s proved an invaluable way for our clients to keep players engaged, particularly at a time when gamified offerings are in hot demand.

What do you project for 2021 in terms of fairs and events, as well as new launches?

As far as trade shows and fairs are concerned, Coronavirus restrictions mean that it’s impossible to know what the situation will be with live events – as the recent cancellation of ICE London 2021 demonstrates. However, as we approach summer, there’s plenty of reasons to be optimistic about the potential of live shows on a smaller scale, so I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed.

In terms of upcoming launches, we will keep releasing at least one innovative new game every month. Our focus is on producing quality titles that are loaded with fresh gamification features, and we’re going to be releasing an enhanced kit of tools that maintains our success in helping operator partners drive up player engagement. Whatever the travel situation dictates, I can promise that the wonderful world of Habanero will continue to deliver the games we’re famous for!
