(Cancun, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Cesar Baez, General Director of the Mexican firm BYA GROUP, talked to SoloAzar about the participation of the firm at CGS, where they presented a new collection of arm chairs for sportsbooks. He also announced the plans of the company for the current year and made an evaluation on the markets in which it operates.

BYA Group presented its latest developments at CGS

"In CGS it is the first time that we will showcase a new line of arm-chairs for sportsbooks. This year we are launching 6 new models. One of them is very interesting because it has a special inclination to watch the screens and a folding chair. It also has a panel, so people can save a bag or briefcase. We presented the base in London. We can use the two measures: for upright or for slant-top, and we brought them to this show, too," César Báez affirmed.

"Bya Group is the number one provider for casino chairs in Mexico. We comprise the main Mexican firms, such as Play City, Caliente and a series of important casinos. I think the 90% of casinos in Mexico have Bya Group chairs," he added.

He then said that the firm is growing at an international level, too. "We are now about to furnish another casino in Guatemala. We have recently assisted at a CGS show in Dominicana, and now we are furnishing a sportsbook casinoin Dominicana and also hotel Jarawa. We also have big projects in Peru, where we will build four casinos there.

In Panama we are furnishing three casinos and in Costa Rica we are making furniture for one casino, and somechairs for Chile. After FADJA exhibition in Colombia, we will open a showroom and a venue in the country, headed by Ana Isabel. She will travel to Colombia for an evaluation period from June to January. César Enrique, my son, will also travel with Regina, his girlfriend who works with us, and Ana María, my partner," he pointed.

"All the events are important, no matter the size," he said, when asked about CGS show. "I think that, in BYA Group case, When I feel I can do business, I go for it, and this time I did that. It seems that the show is small, but you always meet

interesting people, you know what is going on at the casinos, you find someone who will open a casino tomorrow or the current year, or someone brings a project, as it happened here; next week we will start a new project, we just have to define colors to start making the chairs. So there is always business to do."

"With regard to the conferences, it is the first time I participate as a speaker in an event," he said with enthusiasm. "I liked it a lot because organizers let me talk about an issue that is very worrying for me, which is the lack of knowledge by the casinos about the measures of the machines. I gave some advices here at the conference in order to have a more comfortable place for players."

He also remarked the importance of the participation of other speakers. "For example, thanks to the talks, I was aware that more than 90% of the people that go to the casinos is recurrent, because there are casinos that are located in the cities, and it talks about a customer that has to be more attentive and invest more on the casino comfort, because it is the same people, so you have to make them feel comfortable and return to your casino, not to the competence. And sometimes the owner or the operator of a casino does not understand it."

To conclude, he said: "On BYA Group case, we complied the goals we had by coming to the event, due to several reasons. One of them is that it is the first time that César and Regina install the booth, so it served as an experience. We had two trainings in Monterrey to learn how to assemble and disassemble chairs, and it means they will be able to assemble the booth at Bogota. I hope my son does the same as Ana Isabel, who manages things on her own. She can quote products to a casino, she is able to recommend and even choose colors, and I think it is important for everyone."
