Diego Verano from EEZE: "The SBC Summit Rio was a key event in our mission to continue to promote our brand"

(Rio de Janeiro, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Diego Verano is the Director of Business Development LATAM at EEZE. In this one-on-one interview, he shares his impressions after attending SBC Summit Rio 2025.

Diego Verano from EEZE: "The SBC Summit Rio was a key event in our mission to continue to promote our brand"

To open the game, we asked Diego Verano, Business Development Director for LATAM at EEZE, to give us an overview of his vision for SBC Summit Rio 2025 and he explained that “In general terms I can say that, on behalf of EEZE,  we are very happy with the growth of the event in its second edition. The fact of having moved the exhibition from the Windsor Hotel to the Riocentro Convention Center was a great success given that it is a larger and more comfortable space.”

Points to improve

On the other hand he added “Obviously there are points to improve, I think that the effervescence of Rio itself, its idiosyncrasy and the time of year could have harmed the main reason why we attended, which was to meet to talk about business. In some cases the hustle and bustle, the constant presentations of different samba schools generated a very important noise that sometimes did not allow us to engage in a conversation calmly”

And added “Obviously, Rio's natural color needs to be back next year, but perhaps a little more controlled or organized. We trust that those in charge can improve the experience.”

What surprised you the most or what would you highlight about the event?

The large presence of licensed local operators and the significant number of platforms focused on services and products for the region. For a brand like ours, seeking to gradually but strongly position itself in the region, the experience is even more rewarding when we encounter a wide variety of opportunities like the ones presented. Although I didn't have the opportunity to attend many conferences, I must highlight the presentation agenda and the impeccable division between talks on Leadership, Payment Methods, Affiliates, Regulation, and Workshops.

Conferences and panels

Did the Conferences and panels meet your expectations?

There were some very interesting talks about post-regulation influencer marketing in Brazil. Where sponsorship and influencer marketing strategies were discussed as well as the good practices needed to adapt to the local market. Also on the subject of Influencers, I came across a discussion proposed by the Panelists on how to build a successful career in the Brazilian market thanks to proven strategies for creating content and developing the brand. I think they were two very enriching conferences for all of us who had the pleasure of attending them.

Did you have valuable networking opportunities? Were you able to close potential business deals?

For EEZE, the SBC Summit Rio was a key event in our mission to continue to promote our brand and highlight the main points that make us different from the competition. We want to focus our efforts on LatAm with a special focus on Brazil, so now we have to carry out the correct follow-up to be able to continue expanding our business opportunities. The Summit in Rio and the proximity of SIGMA in Sao Paulo go hand in hand in the process of strengthening EEZE's image in the country of samba and jogo bonito.
