(Rio de Janeiro, SoloAzar Exclusive).- During the recent edition of SBC Summit Rio, SmartSoft stood out for the customisation and localisation of its content, reinforcing its commitment to the region through exclusive events and an expansion strategy for the 2026 edition of the show.

SBC Summit Rio 2025: "Brazil is a key market for Smartsoft", Miranda Guliashvili, VP Commercial

From the 25th to the 27th of February, the SBC Summit Rio took place in an impeccable edition, even bigger than last year. There, SmartSoft reaffirmed its focus on Brazil as a key market for its expansion in the LATAM market.

With a portfolio of games designed specifically for the Brazilian public, and the exclusive JetX party with Seu Jorge, the firm consolidated its presence while strengthening ties with operators and strategic partners during the tradeshow.

Miranda Guliashvili, commercial vice-president at SmartSoft, shares in an exclusive interview for SoloAzar her vision of the event, the impact of its participation, and its future goals.

SBC Summit Rio 2025 exceeded SmartSoft's expectations

For SmartSoft the exhibition was a tremendous success. With the energy of Carnival, the biggest celebration for both locals and tourists, the event naturally attracted a high level of interest.

The organisation was impressive, with a massive expo area and a strong presence of major industry players. Many operators had their own stands, allowing us to engage directly with decision-makers.

SmartSoft's expectations were high, and SBC Rio certainly delivered, creating valuable opportunities for new partnerships and reinforcing existing ones.

Will SmartSoft be back next year? Why?

Absolutely. My team and I will definitely be back next year, as this event was incredibly productive for us—Brazil is a core market for Smartsoft.

SBC has already announced that next year's edition will be even bigger, which gives us the opportunity to further expand our presence there.

For this 2025 edition, we hosted a Partner Lounge at the event and organized the Exclusive JetX Party featuring Seu Jorge, which was a major highlight.

For the 2026 edition, we aim to offer even more exciting experiences and strengthen our position in the market.

Current situation and future perspectives of SmartSoft in the Brazilian market

Brazil is a key market for Smartsoft. Our portfolio is adapted to the country, or as the locals say, ‘tropicalized’.

JetX became a huge success, gaining recognition from both players and operators. Building on this momentum, we have developed a larger number of games specifically for the Brazilian audience, to continue to strengthen our presence in the region.

We are fully compliant with all regulations in Brazil, as we have our own gaming certifications, RNG and RGS, which ensure compliance with the required standards.

Looking ahead, we see enormous potential and are committed to consolidating our integration in this Latin American market, while continuously facilitating processes for our partners and offering even more customised content.

The collective effort to adapt to local demands

I was particularly impressed by the strong local presence of our partners at this year's 2025. Companies like Betnacional and Superbet not only participated in the exhibition, but executed large-scale campaigns throughout Rio de Janeiro, making a significant impact beyond the tradeshow.

Rather than highlighting one particular product, what really caught the eye was the industry's collective effort to adapt to the needs of the Brazilian public. Every provider and operators are adjusting their strategies to respond to these local demands, and it is exciting to see the creative and different input of their approaches.

The market is dynamic, and it is clear that those who really understand its needs are the ones leading the way.
