(São Paulo, SoloAzar Exclusive).- During the participation in the latest edition of BiS SiGMA Americas held in São Paulo, we interviewed Tanya Pisarchuk, Sales Manager at 1spin4win, who shared their impressions of the event, the evolution of the regulatory scenario and more interesting facts.

Since its founding in May 2021, 1spin4win has established itself as a fast-growing gaming provider, driven by a team of programmers with more than 15 years of experience in the iGaming industry.

During the BIS SiGMA Americas event in São Paulo, Tanya Pisarchuk, Sales Manager at 1spin4win spoke to SoloAzar and shared her vision and balance of the event. She highlighted its slower but favourable pace. “This year's SiGMA Americas had a different pace - slower, but in a positive way. It was easier to get around, meet people and have really productive conversations. I noticed a strong Brazilian presence, which was great for making new connections and understanding the market better. The 1spin4win team also had productive conversations with clients and have already scheduled some promising follow-ups.”

But beyond the commercial aspects, what really made the difference in this edition, according to Tanya, was the general atmosphere of the fair. “It had a real Latin American flavour: music, energy, people genuinely happy to be there. It didn't feel like a traditional business event. This mix of work and culture made it all the more memorable. SiGMA is clearly building a unique space in the region, and in my opinion, this is working very well for them.

What are your general impressions of this edition of SiGMA Americas?

This year's SiGMA Americas had a different pace - slower, but in a positive way. It was easier to get around, meet people and have really productive conversations. I noticed a strong Brazilian presence, which was great for making new connections and understanding the market better. What themes or trends stood out most in conversations about the iGaming market in Brazil?

One of the main themes in conversations about the iGaming market in Brazil was the evolution of the regulatory scenario. Certification processes are still being defined, which creates uncertainty for operators. This is even more complex when we look at other Latin American countries, such as Chile, where a 20 per cent tax on profits is planned, and Peru, which has already implemented a tax for operators, which is due to increase from 0.3 per cent to 1 per cent in July 2025. Latin America is full of risks and pressures, but something new is beginning to take shape.

In Brazil, strict advertising rules have been introduced with a focus on protecting consumers, especially the most vulnerable. These regulations limit promotions and prohibit campaigns with influencers. In addition, operators must offer services adapted to Brazilian Portuguese and guarantee 24/7 local support, reinforcing the importance of cultural sensitivity.

Another essential point is mobile gaming, driven by the high penetration of smartphones in Brazil. With the increased demand for mobile devices, operators must ensure that their platforms are optimised for mobile use, as this is no longer a luxury but a basic requirement for engaging the Brazilian player.

Did any of the conversations during SiGMA Americas bring unexpected insights into the preferences of Brazilian gamers?

Yes, some conversations at SiGMA Americas brought some very interesting insights into what Brazilian players really like. One thing that stood out was the clear preference for classic online slots in the 3×3 format - simple games with a familiar format that are easy to play.

Another point that came up frequently was the attraction to animal themes and colourful, vibrant visuals. Players seem to connect with slots that have personality and a fun atmosphere.

In your opinion, are 1spin4win's games in line with what Brazilian players are currently looking for?

From what we're observing, 1spin4win's slots match very well with what Brazilian players are looking for at the moment. In general, Latin American players tend to prefer simple, easy-to-understand games that are optimised for mobile devices - classic formats with well-balanced maths and features that really pay off. During the event, did you find any potential partners or opportunities for collaboration that could boost growth in the region?

Yes, we did. The 1spin4win team came back with several qualified leads and even started some negotiations. It was great to see familiar faces again and also to meet new people who showed a real interest in collaborating. The conversations were authentic. People weren't just circulating, they really wanted to talk business.

Although 1spin4win is still in the process of being certified, when it is completed we will already have solid contacts, strategic partners and valuable information. We have already started to follow up and there is good potential for long-term partnerships.

Will the market strategy for Latin America change based on what you learnt at SiGMA, or did the event just confirm the current direction?

The event confirmed that we are on the right track. We are already well advanced with the certification process in Brazil, and SiGMA Americas only reinforced that certification is the way forward, especially in Latin America. Regulation is clearly gaining momentum across the region, and we're taking steps now to get ahead.

What's more, we're focused on Latin America, and to ensure that 1spin4win is on the right track, we've brought in Jaime Carvajal, our sales manager, to lead the efforts in this market. The priority is to ensure that we are ready for changes and always up to date.
