María de Lourdes Ramírez García appointed as new General Director of Games and Draws in Mexico

(Mexico City).- María de Lourdes Ramírez García has a degree in Social Work from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Throughout her career, she took various training courses, including a diploma in Induction to Public Management at the School of Public Administration of the Federal District in 2015.

In terms of work experience, she held various positions in public institutions and social organizations. In the previous administration, she served as area coordinator in the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection.
In 2015, she held the position of Head of the Departmental Unit for Attention to Guests, Migrants and their Families in the Secretariat of Rural Development and Equity for Communities. During this period, she participated in the organization of the Subcommittee on Interculturality and Attention to Migrants, managed the apostille of birth certificates for minors born abroad, facilitated the incorporation of migrant or returning children into the educational system, and managed shelters for migrants and their families.
Between 2014 and 2015, she worked at the Institute of Assistance and Social Integration as Coordinator of Operation, Monitoring and Evaluation. In this position, she improved social assistance services and organized the first count of homeless populations in Mexico City. She was also in charge of caring for homeless people, managed their incorporation into the school system and their training for employment, in addition to processing birth certificates for this vulnerable sector.
In 2012-2013 period, she was in charge of the Regional Executive Directorate of the West in the Undersecretariat of Citizen Participation. There, she participated in the organization of the first delivery of the Social Program of School Supplies and Uniforms through an electronic voucher, in addition to integrating the registry of beneficiaries in the Western region.
From 2010 to 2012, she served as Head of the Departmental Coordination Unit Cuajimalpa Delegation at the Institute for the Care of the Elderly. Her achievements include updating the files of people entitled to the food pension program and organizing the first international forum on the Human Rights of the Elderly.
In 2001, she collaborated as a social worker in the organization Aid and Solidarity with Street Girls I.A.P., where she managed to incorporate 100% of the population.
