(Brasilia).- Senator Romário (PL-RJ), rapporteur of the Parliamentary Inquiry Committee (CPI in its original portuguese) on Manipulation of Games and Sports Betting, presented today a final report on the subject.

The CPI has already scheduled another meeting for tomorrow, Wednesday (12), also at 15.00, at which it will vote on the report.
Also on the agenda for today, goes a request (REQ 178/2025) asking the Federal Police for information on the international transfer of businessman William Pereira Rogatto.
William Pereira Rogatto, known as the ‘king of relegation’, was arrested by Interpol in early November in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) for allegedly manipulating football results and championships.
The author of the request, Senator Carlos Portinho (PL-RJ), wants to know what steps have already been taken to transfer the businessman and when he is expected to arrive in Brazil.
The CPI on Manipulation of Sports Betting was created in April 2024, with Senator Jorge Kajuru (PSB-GO) being elected president. The objective of the commission is to investigate facts related to allegations and suspicions of match-fixing in Brazilian football, involving players, managers and betting companies.
The CPI is authorised to operate until 15 February.
