(Dominican Republic).- The Ministry of Finance of the Dominican Republic announced the entry into force of resolution 006-2019, which outlines the policies and requirements that people interested in applying for permits to operate lottery banks must follow.

The final permit will be subject to the interconnection between the lottery bank and the banking and lottery monitoring system of the ministry of finance, as well as the fulfillment of the location requirements, a period of 90 days was determined to comply with all them.
This measure was adopted due to the increasing appearance of informal lottery banks since the ban in 2011. In this way, the Ministry of Finance promotes the formalization of different lottery banks and the invitation of foreign investors to this industry.
Next June 2019, Santo Domingo will once again receive the DR Gaming Summit.
