At 12 noon, the official opening ceremony took place, led by the event’s founder, Eman Pulis, alongside the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, who formally inaugurated the fair. From 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, the event offered a full day of exhibitions, with parallel conferences and networking opportunities. The organization was impeccable, with high-quality stand presentations and a spacious food court for visitors.

A distinctive feature of this edition is the lack of segmentation by sector: online gaming, payments, land-based operations, and affiliate businesses all share the same space, creating a more integrated and dynamic environment.

Day 1 Highlights

Among the standout activities on Day 1, Galaxsys held a press conference to unveil a new product, while BetConstruct impressed attendees with two opposing stands, each themed around iconic Roman landmarks—one replicating the Colosseum and the other the Pantheon—complete with gladiator-style decor and performances that drew crowds.

A growing trend this year is the integration of live content within exhibitor spaces. Several companies are hosting interactive shows, and one even broadcasts a live-streaming program directly from its stand.

Regulators Collaborate to Enhance Player Protection in EU iGaming Sector

A key moment on Day 1 of the SiGMA Central Europe Summit was the panel “Voices of Authority: Inside Europe’s Regulatory Roundtable,” held on the Affiliate Leaders Stage. The session brought together prominent regulatory figures from across Europe to discuss how national frameworks can evolve toward a more harmonized and resilient iGaming market. Among the panelists was Maarten Haijer, Secretary General of the European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA), alongside representatives from various jurisdictions.
