Argentina: Buenos Aires Province calls for tenders for the modernisation of seven casinos

(Buenos Aires).- It was promoted by the Lottery Institute for the Necochea, Miramar, Tandil, Sasso, Hermitage, Mar de Ajo and Sierra de la Ventana casinos. The expansion of envelopes is scheduled for July 8th.
The president of the Provincial Institute of Lottery and Casinos, Gonzalo Atanasof, signed the resolution that promotes the call for tenders of seven casinos located in different parts of the province and that, until now, were operating with an extension in their concession.
“This is a fundamental step towards the modernisation and competitiveness of the province's casinos, based on a commitment made in conjunction with the province,” said Atanasof, adding: “We are not only seeking to guarantee the continuity of the workers and improve their working conditions, but also investments that will help to capitalise on the tourism and entertainment potential of each casino.”
With this new tender, the bidders are expected to invest in building improvements, modernise the arcades and the offer of slot machines and promote competitive tourist entertainment spaces with gastronomic offers and shows throughout the year.
A 20-year exploitation period is foreseen, with the possibility of extending for one more year. The expansion of envelopes is scheduled for July 8th at noon at the headquarters of the Instituto de Loteria y Casinos.
