Bear River Casino Resort celebrates its 20th anniversary

(Loleta, CA).- Bear River Casino Resort celebrated its grand 20-year anniversary on August 10. A ribbon cutting had been held on Aug. 1 to announce a new aquatic-themed gaming area.
Bear River Casino Resort is a Native American casino in Loleta, California and is open Mon-Fri 9am-5am, Sat-Sun 24 hours.
The ribbon cutting for the Deep Sea Den, the new gaming area at the casino, was held on August 1st. The area has an aquatic theme, including slot machines, four tanks of live fish and water-related videos.
“One of the things they are going to find here is a cooler space,” McGinnis said. “The Deep Sea Den is something that is going to feel like it is submerged under water.”
“We have brought in the latest games and an underwater theme that will transcend you to another place,” McGinnis said.
The local contracting firm Mickey & Sons built the new addition to the casino. “From design (and) build, we had this up in less than two months,” McGinnis said.
One of the owners of Mickey & Sons, Angel Ramirez, said the new gaming area used to be private offices for employees. “Now we made it into an open gaming room,” Ramirez said. “People will find a lot of games in an environment that is very aquatic. Everything, the vibe, the ambiance is very ocean,” he said.
