Cadence Crossing Casino in Henderson announces opening date: March 25

(Las Vegas).- The date is set for the grand opening of Henderson's newest casino. Boyd Gaming announced that Cadence Crossing Casino will begin welcoming guests at noon on Wednesday, March 25.
Located next to Jokers Wild at 920 N. Boulder Highway, Cadence Crossing is expected to feature more than 450 slot machines, two restaurants, a center bar and a lounge.
Henderson officials and Boyd Gaming executives are expected to be on hand for a 10 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony leading up to the noon public opening of the casino.
The casino’s debut comes as Boyd Gaming transitions to Cadence Crossing, which replaces the Joker’s Wild casino at the same site. The new casino has about twice as many slots as Joker’s Wild.
The first phase is expected to be followed by additional amenities at the site. Residential growth in the area, particularly the Cadence master-planned community, is expected to fuel demand for the casino and potential expansion phases.
Boyd Gaming executives said in early February that the casino would open in late March, but the opening date had not previously been announced.
