Only a Few Casinos Saw Growth Despite Statewide Increase

Although the overall figure showed a modest gain, just five of the state’s casino properties posted year-over-year increases. Century Casino Caruthersville led the pack, recording a 17% rise in AGR, bringing in $5.5 million. River City Casino in St. Louis followed with an 8% jump, generating $24.7 million for the month.

Century Casino Cape posted the sharpest decline, down 8% year-over-year to $6.3 million. Argosy Casino & Hotel dropped 6% to $15.4 million, and Bally’s Kansas City fell 2% to $12.3 million.
