Casino Superintendence ends evaluation of technical offers for an operating permit in two Chilean regions

The Superintendency of Gambling Casinos (SCJ) reports that it has ended the evaluation of the technical offers submitted by Inversiones y Turismo Chiloé S.A. and Rantrur S.A., applicant and renewer, respectively, for an operating permit in the commune of Castro; as well as ending the evaluation of the proposal of Casino de Juegos Coyhaique S.A., in the commune of Coyhaique, concluding its participation in the process of granting operating permits, which thus ends, without assigning scores and without carrying out the stage of opening economic offers, which was ratified by the Resolving Council of this body, as stated in Exempt Resolutions Nos. 794, 795 and 793, respectively.

The above, because said proposals did not comply with any of the obligations established in Law No. 19,995, in Supreme Decree No. 1722, of 2015, of the Treasury, which approves the regulations for the processing and granting of operating permits for gambling casinos or in the technical bases.

The technical evaluation reports of the applicants for an operating permit and the aforementioned exempt resolutions are published on the SCJ website https://www.scj.cl/procesos-de-la-industria/otorgamiento-de-permiso-de-operacion/2025.

Considering the above, the Superintendent will begin during this year a new process of granting an operating permit for an available quota at the national level and one in reserve in the Aysén Region.
