Korean Casino Operator Paradise Co Records Strong August Performance with Double-Digit Growth

(Seoul). —Strong Monthly Growth Driven by Table Game Performance and Rising Drop Amount. Paradise Co posts over US$57 million in August casino revenue, up 11.7% Year-on-Year. The company appears to have regained its strong momentum following a slight dip in July.
Leading Korean foreigner-only casino operator Paradise Co has reported casino revenue of KRW80.5 billion (US$57.7 million) for August 2025, marking an 11.7% year-on-year increase and a 7.0% improvement compared to July.
The company appears to have regained its strong momentum following a slight dip in July. Table game revenue rose 7.2% month-on-month to KRW76.0 billion (US$54.5 million), while machine game revenue climbed 3.9% to KRW4.45 billion (US$3.2 million).
Drop Amount Shows Double-Digit Monthly Growth
Paradise Co reported a 12.4% month-on-month increase in drop amount, reaching KRW656.3 billion (US$470 million). However, this figure was 1.7% lower than August 2024, reflecting a slight year-on-year decline despite the strong monthly recovery.
Year-to-Date Revenue Up More Than 10%
For the first eight months of 2025, Paradise Co’s combined casino revenue totals KRW610.7 billion (US$438 million), representing a 10.2% year-on-year increase and reinforcing its position as Korea’s leading foreigner-only casino operator.
Expansion Plans and VIP Focus
Paradise Co recently unveiled plans to develop a luxury hotel in Seoul and upgrade its VIP gaming areas as part of its strategy to attract more international guests. The company operates four casinos across South Korea, including the flagship Paradise City integrated resort in Incheon (a joint venture with Japan’s Sega Sammy), plus locations in Seoul, Busan, and Jeju.
