MGM Resorts International Unveils New Holiday Displays and Experiences

(Las Vegas).- MGM Resorts International properties are ready for the holidays. Even in Las Vegas, where it rarely snows but it still gets chilly in the desert. A series of seasonal displays and experiences will certainly get you in the holiday mood.
At the iconic Bellagio, the Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, check out this year’s holiday display, ‘Twas. You guess it – the display is inspired be the classic poem “A Visit from St. Nicholas” by Clement Clarke Moore. Yes, Virginia, they do celebrate Christmas in Sin City.
The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is welcoming back its Ice Rink for the 13th year. The rooftop amenity also offers spectacular views of the Las Vegas Strip. There will be a special tree leading ceremony on December one, hosted by television personality Chelsea Handler. There is also The Chalet, a reimagined mountaintop village adorned with open-air fire pits and decor. Throughout the season, various special events and activations will take place at the Ice Rink, including classic holiday films shown on the resort’s 65-foot marquee every Monday and Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Santa Claus steers his sleigh from the North Pole to Las Vegas to find out who’s been naughty and nice during the annual Santa in the Shipwreck at Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay. With each paid admission, children 12 and under receive a complimentary photograph with Santa Claus. Jolly St. Nick will also have a little help this year from a rather large and toothy holiday helper – Santa Jaws.
There are also events and activities at Excalibur Hotel, and various food and beverage specials at other MGM resorts.
