(Las Vegas).- The STRAT Hotel, Casino and Skypod, formerly known as The Stratosphere has recently undergone an $140 million renovation and rebrand which includes a full upgrade of the casino gaming floor.
TCSJOHNHUXLEY is proud to have been chosen to supply all the gaming equipment for this iconic Las Vegas strip property and be part of its exciting makeover. The new gaming floor consists of 40 gaming tables consisting of 31 Blackjack, 6 Roulette and 3 Craps tables, all custom designed and built to complement the stunning new décor. In addition, the casino installed, 6 SaturnTM Glo Roulette Wheels, 4 Chipper Champ 2 chipping machines, 6 Elite 2 29” displays and 5 pit podiums. To complete the live gaming equipment, 2 Blaze Roulette tables will be installed in the coming weeks.
The whole project was particularly challenging as all the work had to be carried out whilst the casino was still in full operation, however the TCSJOHNHUXLEY team worked very closely with the STRAT to ensure disruption was kept to a minimum.
Brian Stanton, Vice President of Table Games comments, “TCSJOHNHUXLEY makes unparalleled, state-of-the-art, first class products but it's their attention to detail and support that set them apart. When opening or remodelling a casino there are so many moving parts, last minute challenges and changes, that having a company that you can rely on, to get things done, and correctly, is invaluable.”
Steph Nel, TCSJOHNHUXLEY General Manager Americas adds, “We are extremely proud to have been chosen to supply this iconic Strip casino with such a wide range of our products. Our team pulled out all the stops to ensure we delivered the highest quality products, on time and with the minimum disruption to the casino. We are delighted they are so pleased with the finished results and wish the STRAT team every success for the future.”
