In the same three-month period, operating income stood at US$127.1 million, similar to the previous quarter’s US$127.1 million. The operator, however, reported a net loss attributable to owners of the company of US$6.2 million in the third quarter.

Operating revenues for the July-to-September period reached US$819 million, representing a 6.5% increase quarter-to-quarter and a 609 per cent jump compared to the same period last year.

The operator’s Cotai property, Wynn Palace, accounted for 64 per cent (US$524.7 million) of the overall operating revenues, with the remaining US$285 million generated by the group’s other property in the SAR, Wynn Macau, on the peninsula.

The Macau operations contributed about half of the total operating revenue (US$1.67 billion) of parent company Wynn Resorts, which also operates properties in Las Vegas, the Encore Boston Harbor, and the online gaming unit, Wynn Interactive.

Wynn Resorts CEO Craig Billings highlighted the performance of the Macau operations, stating, “In Macau, the recovery continued to progress during the quarter, with particular strength in our mass gaming, luxury retail, and hotel businesses.”
