(Colombia, SoloAzar Exclusive).- One of the talks held yesterday at GAT Virtual Expo treated about traditional events in the short and medium term, erias in charge of show organizers, with the participation of UFI (Union of International Fairs) for Latin America. The speakers were: Ana María Arango, Director UFI Latam and Paula Quintero, Coordinator of Projects.
Ana María Arango talked about the reactivation of fairs and exhibitions worldwide. "The UFI is the only global association of the fair industry, present in 80 countries," he said, adding: "This industry has been one of the most affected, since it has had a decline of 70% so far in the past. year".

These are, among other recommended measures, that should be encouraged and enforced. "
"The support of the government and the unions is always necessary to give the green light to the event. It is decisive," added Arango. "A recommendation for the organizers is to do a small rehearsal prior to the event."
Meanwhile Paula Quintero, Project Coordinator, spoke about the demand and acceptance of exhibitors and visitors. "40% of people believe that virtual events are not going to replace physical ones, and 77% believe that digital events are not yet good in terms of networking."
Among other data presented from an EXPLORI report, Quintero commented: "52% believe they are good at content."
