(Douglas).- Industry experts from iGaming, regulation and cybersecurity will gather in Malta on May 27 to discuss evolving compliance challenges, AI-driven cyber threats and the future of secure regulated markets.
Exploring the Real Security Challenges in Regulated Markets
Altenar has announced the third edition of Malta Business Talks #3 a networking event designed to bring together professionals from the iGaming, compliance and cybersecurity sectors for an evening of discussion, insight sharing and industry networking. The event is scheduled to take place on May 27.
This edition will focus on some of the most pressing issues currently shaping the industry, particularly the operational challenges faced by regulated and security-driven organisations. Discussions will examine how compliance requirements, technological innovation and cyber threats continue to evolve simultaneously.
AI and Cybercrime Take Centre Stage
One of the central themes of the event will be the growing role of artificial intelligence in cybercrime. Speakers will explore how AI technologies are increasingly being used by threat actors to automate attacks and support malware payload development.
Another key topic will address the effectiveness of compliance frameworks in preventing real-world security breaches, questioning whether current regulatory approaches provide genuine protection or primarily serve to satisfy formal requirements.
Industry Experts to Share Operational Insights
The program will feature several experienced specialists working across regulation, security and technology. Confirmed speakers include Magno Neiva and Keith Barbara from Altenar, Keith Cutajar from CY4 Ltd, Denise Vella from Altenar and Alessandro Dutto from GLI.
Each speaker will contribute practical insights based on direct operational experience within highly regulated industries.
Altenar Highlights the Value of Open Industry Conversations
Elena Zulli, Events Director at Altenar, highlighted the importance of creating meaningful dialogue within the industry.
She said: “The strength of Malta Business Talks lies in the quality of conversations it creates. This is not just another networking event - it is a space where professionals openly share real experiences, discuss challenges without filters, and exchange practical insights that rarely surface in formal settings. It offers a unique opportunity to connect with industry peers in a way that is both honest and genuinely valuable.”
