(Sofia).- The culturally inspired title earned top honors at the BIS Awards 2026, standing out for its strong localization strategy, visual appeal, and ability to connect with players through everyday Brazilian references and innovative formats.

Amusnet’s "Caramelo Sortudo" triumphs at the BIS Awards 2026

Caramelo Sortudo, developed by Amusnet, has been named Best Slot Game at the BIS Awards 2026, an accolade that recognizes the most outstanding companies and professionals in Brazil’s iGaming and betting industry over the past year.

Launched in 2025 and designed specifically for the Brazilian market, the game transforms one of the country’s most iconic cultural symbols into an interactive experience. It incorporates everyday references such as flip-flops that don’t survive a dog’s bite and the well-known “dog TV” meme—featuring dogs reacting to rotating chicken roasters—which appears in the game as a bonus multiplier trigger.

The award reinforces Amusnet’s strategy of delivering content tailored to the dynamics of regulated markets, combining performance, visual appeal, and cultural relevance.

“It was a highly meticulous process, with strong attention to detail. As a company with development teams based in Bulgaria, this game demonstrates our product team’s ability to accurately interpret the direction we provide – from visual elements to cultural references.
We believe this was a key differentiating factor. We were competing alongside high-quality titles, and it is important to recognise the level of our competitors. In this case, the difference came from how we approached localisation and consistently integrated cultural elements,” said Marco Pequeno, Country Manager Brazil.

In addition to its original version, Caramelo Sortudo also offers customizable branded adaptations, enabling operators to align the game with their identity and enhance engagement with different audiences.

As part of its evolution, Amusnet is also preparing to launch a new crash version, expanding the game’s presence across multiple gameplay formats.
