(London).- The status of ICE Africa as the ‘go to’ event for the continent's decision makers active in every vertical of the industry has been underlined by the latest update issued by event organisers, Clarion Gaming which confirms that a total of 27 African countries will be attending October’s two day exhibition and conference.
The second edition of ICE Africa will feature key regulators and decision makers from trade associations and commissions representing Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Lagos, South Africa, Tanzania as well as those from Francophone Africa.
The most recent additions to the ICE Africa stakeholder community comprise: Lanre Gbajabiamila, Director General, Nigerian Lottery Regulatory Commission; James Mbalwe, Director General, Gaming Board of Tanzania; Kobby Annan, Deputy Commissioner, Ghana Gaming Commission; Seun Anibaba, CEO, Lagos State Lotteries Board; and Thabang Mampane, Commissioner, Lottery Commission of South Africa.
Clarion Gaming’s Curtis Roach who leads the team responsible for organising ICE Africa, believes the event has developed beyond being simply a professional business exhibition for the continent of Africa. Curtis explained: “The primary objective is to provide an professional environment in which members of the industry can network, learn, see the latest gaming products from leading innovators and, as a result, to stay ahead of the curve. However another important feature of the event and one which goes largely unseen is the central role it plays in bringing regulators and industry strategists together in one place. This dynamic is an important contributor to the creation of progressive, sustainable and socially responsible gaming economies throughout the continent."
The 2019 edition of ICE Africa will feature a two stream conference comprising 60+ expert thought-leaders and an exhibition space featuring 70+ of the international industry’s leading innovators . The content-rich learning programme has been curated with the objective of driving the socially responsible advancement of gaming in Africa.
