How did BEGE originate and how was its beginning?

With unwavering determination, we embarked on the journey to create an exceptional exhibition that would showcase the vibrant energy and potential of the Balkans. Spearheaded by the dedicated team, our vision came to life, setting a new standard in the industry. From overcoming challenges to celebrating successes, our commitment to innovation and excellence shines through in every aspect of our work.

Nowadays we are proud to say that the annual event boasts a robust lineup of over 80 esteemed exhibitors, from 68 countries, each showcasing their products and services within a spacious 6000 sq.m venue. Industry leaders such as EGT, CT Gaming, Novomatic, Amusnet, Merkur Gaming and many more, participate underscoring the event's significance as a premier platform for networking and collaboration in the sector. 

What kind of content on new technologies and innovations will the representatives of the gaming industry find this year, and could you contrast this with what was offered at the beginning of the BEGE fair?

Fifteen years ago, we started to walk on a path that has been transformed by the digital revolution. Today, the world of gambling is defined by innovation and advancement. At BEGE, over 80 companies from all corners of the gaming industry come together to unveil their next-generation products, services, and solutions, promising a glimpse into the future of gaming excellence. We can hardly contain our excitement to witness the groundbreaking innovations from the industry's foremost trailblazers.

This year, 2024, you are planning to repeat the Proximity edition. What will it consist of?

We are thrilled to announce that the Proximity edition is actually upgrading! This year, we are proud to emphasize that our exhibition not only signifies but also delivers Proximity to business, Proximity to opportunities and Proximity to ideas. For over 15 years, we have remained steadfast in this position, and we are excited to unveil the latest advancements from industry leaders at our event.

Since its beginnings, how was the expansion within the European and international market? Do you plan to continue with this expansion to any other markets?

BEGE takes place in Sofia, Bulgaria, a location we believe has the potential to become the ultimate hub for opportunities in the gambling industry. The future of BEGE undoubtedly involves expansion, with the event growing larger each year. This growth implies opportunities for a larger scale participation each year, with all countries being welcome to exhibit their products and services. With this, attendees can expect a diverse and enriching experience at BEGE, fostering international cooperation and networking within the industry.

Could you tell us about your plans to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the BEGE Expo?

Fifteen years of dedication symbolize a rich legacy of tradition, history, learning, creativity, expansion, and excellence in our craft. As we commemorate this milestone, we aim to celebrate in grand style with the legendary BEGE Party and our annual Awards Ceremony, surrounded by our valued partners, participants, and friends. These events will serve as a testament to our commitment to what we love doing.
