Belatra Games Highlights Networking Value at SBC Summit Americas 2026

Objectives and Achievements

What were your main goals at SBC Summit Americas?
The main objectives for attending SBC Summit Americas were to strengthen relationships with existing partners, explore new business opportunities across regulated and emerging markets in the Americas, and gain insights into the latest industry developments. While we were able to accomplish these goals through a series of productive meetings and networking opportunities, the overall attendance seemed lower than expected. This was likely influenced by the ongoing FIFA World Cup and the fact that many industry professionals were already preparing for or traveling to Peru for PGS Lima the following week.

Valuable Connections

Which meetings or connections proved most valuable?
The most valuable aspect of the trip was the communication that took place during the event, especially during the gathering of Bloko Padel Tour 2026 participants in Miami. Belatra Games is the Gold Plus sponsor of the entire tour, which consists of four stages. The atmosphere was much more relaxed and conducive to meaningful conversations, allowing for stronger engagement with both existing partners and potential new contacts. The Bloko Padel reinforced the importance of complementary networking events in building long-term business relationships within the industry.

Industry Trends

What trends or innovations stood out most?
One of the most noticeable trends was the continued focus on growth opportunities within regulated Latin American markets, particularly as more jurisdictions mature and operators seek differentiation.

Key Takeaways

What are your main takeaways from the summit?
A key takeaway is that while large industry events remain important for visibility and relationship management, smaller networking-focused experiences can often deliver greater value in terms of meaningful business conversations. I expect these connections to translate into follow-up discussions, partnership opportunities, and new business initiatives. The experience also reinforced the importance of maintaining a strong presence at industry events while identifying complementary opportunities that facilitate more effective networking.
