(Malta).- The inaugural SiGMA Americas conference is set to take place 22-24 September and we are delighted to be not only attending, but also participating in a panel discussion.
The virtual conference will provide an exciting platform for which to grow our presence in Latin America - one of the most vibrant and fast-growing regions in sports betting. It will also be a great event for us to learn more about the opportunities and challenges facing the continent.
Commercial Director Chris Nikolopoulous will also be sharing his thoughts on the ‘Betting Beyond Football’ panel, looking at the alternative sports betting markets in a region renowned for its love of the Beautiful Game.
The event gives BETBY an ideal opportunity to connect with our partners in Latin America while also pursuing new business opportunities in one of the most exciting, emerging sports betting regions.

LatAm Regulators Discussed Illegal Gambling and Innovation at SiGMA North America
(Mexico City, SoloAzar Exclusive).- The panel "The Red Pen Forum: Regulators Respond to the Industry," held during SiGMA North America 2026, brought together representatives from Uruguay, Argentina, Puerto Rico, and Honduras to analyze regulatory challenges, digital transformation, illegal gambling, and the need to adapt lotteries for new generations.
