Betcris Named Sponsor of Gaming & Technology Expo Events

(Colombia).- As Betcris, the leading sports gambling and online gaming operator in Latin America, continues to grow, it As the gaming industry continues to work toward a strong recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, a number of important events and seminars are being added to the calendar. These are designed to help industry leaders and players address current issues and future development, and the Gaming & Technology (GAT) Expo to be held next month is going to be an important component of the gaming industry’s growth. Betcris, the leading sports betting and iGaming brand in Latin America, will be featured during the event, sponsoring two of its activities.
The upcoming GAT Expo will be held on August 18 and 19 in Cartagena, Colombia. Opening the event will be a VIP Networking event the day before in the form of a catamaran run, of which Betcris is the sponsor. A reception for the event begins at 5:30 PM in Muelle de Los Pegasos, Cartagena, from where the launch will take place. The boats will set sail at 6:00 PM and return at 10:00 PM. All times are local times.
Betcris is also the sponsor of Digital Transformation towards an Omnichannel Service, presented by GAT Expo and LATAM Media Group LMG. Fernando Garita, Director of New Business for Betcris, will participate in both the VIP Networking event and the presentation.
The focus of the upcoming event is to provide expert insight from Garita and others into the challenges of rebuilding casino, bingo or slot halls into the digital world. Physical gaming operations will have to carry out their digital transformation towards an omnichannel service as soon as possible since many are experiencing a reduction in profitability due to the pandemic. This great change in the business model is not easy for any operator, but is the key that will provide the opportunities to generate new business models in the future.
Among topics to be discussed during the two-day event are platforms, content, digital marketing and more. All are important elements that have to be considered before making beginning a digital transformation. In the market, there are many platform providers that provide services for all types of operations, and Garita’s experience and knowledge will be valuable contributions to event attendees.
