Betradar exhibits 360 degree betting offering at ICE 2019
⏱ 3 min read
(London, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Mateo Lenoble, Sales Director of South America for Sportradar, was interviewed by SoloAzar during ICE 2019. Sportradar’s betting arm, Betradar, had a 400m2 stand, featuring a betting shop and demonstrations of their betting products and services.
"We are very proud to be exhibiting at ICE once again. This year we have an even bigger stand of 400 m2, featuring two floors and five meeting rooms,"said Mateo Lenoble at the recent ICE 2019 fair. "The idea is not only to have meetings but to show our clients what we are offering. We have created space inside our stand that simulates a betting shop, where you can experience our entire 360 degree betting offering, including pre-match and live betting solutions, virtual gaming, live streaming, Numbers Betting and our new marketing solution, ad:s. We also have a dedicated section showcasing our signature all-in-one trading and risk management solution, Managed Trading Services (MTS), simply because it continues to be well-received by operators both big and small," he continued.
Speaking about the performance of the company and its objectives for this year, Lenoble added the following: "From an industry perspective, 2018 closed in the best possible way, especially with the news from Brazil and Buenos Aires. Brazil is a market that all gaming providers aim for and, although we are still waiting for regulation, creating a legalized betting market is a step in the right direction, both for commercial opportunities and integrity. Buenos Aires is also a very attractive market within South America. From a company perspective, 2018 was a very positive year. With many opportunities and challenges ahead for the industry in 2019, we want to be even stronger in the region, especially in the products we are presenting there."
When asked about the current edition of ICE, he commented: "ICE, as we know, is the number one fair within the gaming sector. We always have our representatives from across the globe in attendance, so we cover a range of languages, and this helps us a lot to generate new contacts and new customers. The business opportunity that we have at ICE is huge, it is one of the biggest events on our yearly calendar, so it is a very important fair in which we invest a lot."
With regard to upcoming shows, Betradar will be present with a stand at FADJA, Colombia. "Colombia is a very attractive market in the region. Our company already has a number of clients, including operators or platforms, in the region who utilise our data and services. In Colombia specifically there are currently around 16 licensed operators, and we are already working directly with 14, so our presence is quite comprehensive,"he said, and then added: "We will also be attending Juegos Miami, the Peru Gaming Show and SAGSE Buenos Aires.

When asked about the Latin American market, he commented: "Latin America is a very important region for us, so we have greatly increased the coverage we offer for this region, especially the live matches. We have expanded our services a lot in Brazil, Argentina, Colombia and Peru lately, as well as in countries of Central America. We also continue to grow in Uruguay and Chile."
Adding to this, Lenoble explained the concept of risk management, which is vital for all regions globally, but requires a local approach. "We know that Latin American bettors like to bet on their local leagues more than on international leagues, so we are very focused on that. We assist many clients with our trading and risk management solution, Managed Trading Services (MTS), which is fully flexible depending on the market and a client’s needs. Nowadays it is an intrinsic component within the portfolio of services of clients want. As part of MTS, we analyse every bet, ensuring operators can manage their risks to maximize their profits. This has been very successful in the Latin American region."

"MTS is about helping clients retain their customers by setting limits. These are determined by the games and regions, for example their size, to suit operators at a local level," he concluded.
