(Rome).- Blokotech closed the first edition of the Bloko Padel Tour with its Grand Final in Roma, celebrating the success of an inaugural season that brought together the international iGaming community through padel, competition, and networking.
Bloko Padel Tour Grand Final at SiGMA World Rome
Held within the framework of SiGMA World in Rome on Wednesday, November 4, the Grand Final brought together the circuit's top players to compete for the 2026 titles, following tournaments held in Buenos Aires, Malta, Miami, and Mexico City.
Beginners and Advanced Category Champions
In the Beginners category, Rommel Bucheli and Edu Molina were crowned champions after defeating Yosef Kamel and Ronaldo Molina, who finished as runners-up. In the Advanced category, Borja Jimenez and Francisco Amat claimed the title, while Nicolas Castearena and Andres Troelsen took second place.
Presence of Sports Legends: Marco Materazzi and Giancarlo Fisichella
Italian football icon and World Cup champion Marco Materazzi played a prominent role in the Grand Final as the official ambassador of the Bloko Padel Tour, joining attendees in Hall 9, which was transformed into a space dedicated to padel and networking, featuring a competition court, VIP areas, a bar, and entertainment. This dynamic setting allowed players and industry professionals to connect during SiGMA World.
The event also featured other notable sports figures, including former Formula 1 driver Giancarlo Fisichella, who participated in an exhibition match on November 3.
Marco Materazzi, official ambassador of the Bloko Padel Tour, commented: "It has been a real pleasure to be part of the Bloko Padel Tour and to experience firsthand the passion and energy of the Grand Final. Padel is a sport that brings people together, and that is precisely what this circuit has achieved. I really enjoyed this experience and seeing the competitive spirit and camaraderie among the players. I am proud to be an ambassador for this initiative and look forward to seeing it grow even more in 2027."
One Point by Blokotech and International Networking
The action continues today with One Point by Blokotech, a dynamic padel competition where every point counts. Designed to offer excitement and entertainment for both players and spectators, this single-point format will pit participants against each other in an intense battle for the title, with the winner crowned at the end of the day.
Beyond the sports competition, the Bloko Padel Tour has established itself as an international networking platform that brings together key decision-makers from the iGaming industry, fostering genuine connections outside the traditional trade show and conference setting.
Following the success of its inaugural season, the Bloko Padel Tour will return in 2027 with six international tournaments in Europe and Latin America, in collaboration with SiGMA. The circuit will kick off in Barcelona on January 18 during ICE, and will continue in Buenos Aires (March 15), São Paulo (April 5), Malta (May 3), and Mexico City, before concluding with the Grand Final in Rome. Both the Beginners and Advanced categories will return to the circuit, with players accumulating ranking points throughout the season to secure their spot in the Grand Final.
