Bloko Padel Tour will return in 2027 alongside SiGMA with six international venues

Barcelona will open the season in January

Blokotech confirmed the return of the Bloko Padel Tour in 2027, in collaboration with SiGMA. The next edition will incorporate a new venue and expand the calendar to six cities in Europe and Latin America, with the aim of continuing to strengthen international links between iGaming industry professionals on and off the court.

The season will begin on January 18 in Barcelona, as part of ICE, and will continue in Buenos Aires, São Paulo, Malta, Mexico City and Rome. The final dates of the pending stages will be communicated during the coming weeks.

Two categories and an international ranking

Each tournament will feature the Beginners and Advanced categories. The first will be aimed at recreational players who are starting out in padel, while the second will require a minimum official category.

The participating couples will add points for the ranking throughout the season. The best-positioned teams will qualify for the Grand Final, which will be played in Rome.

All stages will take place in private padel clubs and will be distributed throughout the year, allowing participants to organise their trips in advance.

Bloko Padel Tour 2027 Schedule

Barcelona: 18 January.

Buenos Aires: March 15.

São Paulo: April 5.

Malta: 3 May.

Mexico City: date to be confirmed.

Rome: Grand Final, date to be confirmed.

A first edition that drives expansion

The announcement comes as the inaugural edition of the Bloko Padel Tour nears its closing. During 2026, the circuit passed through Buenos Aires, Malta, Miami and Mexico City, before holding its Grand Final in Rome, during SiGMA World.

The event will feature the participation of Marco Materazzi, world football champion and ambassador of the circuit.

Registration for the Barcelona 2027 stage is now open through the Blokotech website. Those interested can register individually or as a couple.

Blokotech highlights the growth of the circuit

Salvatore Messina, co-founder and CEO of Blokotech, highlighted the potential of the initiative after its first season and the value of generating meeting spaces outside of traditional industry events.

"The first season has shown us the potential that this circuit has. Each tournament brought more industry professionals to the court, and the conversations that followed had an energy that is sometimes hard to find in front of a booth," he said.

In addition, Messina remarked that the expansion of the calendar will allow consolidating a sustained competition during the year: "Six cities mean a longer season and a real competition to add points in the ranking until reaching the Grand Final. Barcelona in January is the perfect setting to start, and we can't wait to see who joins this time."
