(Buenos Aires).- Within the framework of World Gaming Week, the Buenos Aires City Lottery took part in ICE Barcelona 2026, standing out for its efforts in the fight against illegal gambling and for promoting cooperation among regulators across Latin America.
The Buenos Aires City Lottery made its mark at ICE Barcelona 2026, one of the most important international events in the gaming industry, with a strong focus on the challenges of the regulatory agenda in Latin America.
Ezequiel Domínguez, Director of the City Lottery, participated in the panel “Fighting the Black Market” alongside experts such as Ida López (ALEA) and Yuri Guerra (MINCETUR), moderated by Tomás Enrique García Botta. During the session, key strategies were highlighted, including the use of strategic data, digital monitoring, and cooperation among regulators to combat illegal gambling.
Domínguez shared the Buenos Aires City Lottery’s experience in awareness and prevention initiatives, monitoring of digital environments, and joint work with the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Gambling (FEJA).
Ultimately, these actions aim to block illegal websites and control the promotion of betting by public figures and influencers, strengthening a comprehensive approach in the City of Buenos Aires.
