(Miami).- The future of Gaming: Online is the next step, was the third panel of #CGSLatam2021 which had as participants Ivo Doroteia - General Manager of Sportingtech, Luis de Prat - Business Development Director of Sportingtech, David Moniz - Director of the Casino Association of Dominican Republic and Elizabeth Romano - Business Development Manager of TCS John Huxley for Latin America and Panama.
In this panel, the experts discussed online gaming as an essential element that was thought to be far away for many operators and now they want to reach that immediate future.
About this, Ivo Doroteia commented: "Online is not a competition with Land Based operations, it will be a transition to change and it is an opportunity for operators and regulators".
Similarly, Luis de Prat detailed: "Online gaming is growing a lot and we are offering online channels to physical operators to provide greater accessibility for their users".
Likewise, David Moniz highlighted: "The new trends are focused on this new methodology that are the online platforms, it seems to me that neither of the two will disappear, but rather, they will coexist one with the other, since the first barrier that online platforms achieve is the trust with the users, which is only generated in physical casinos".
In addition, the panelists analyzed the online segment between Latin America and Europe on how to obtain users through digital media compared to the Hispanic market that is physical and go to the establishments. They also discussed cultural issues regarding online platforms and legislation, since not all countries allow the development of these platforms.
