(Mexico City).- Cibelae organizes a seminar on Money Laundering Prevention and Security: Challenges and Solutions at the Barceló México Reforma, CDMX headquarters, which will take place from July 11 to 14, 2023.
One of the fundamental objectives of the organizations that make up Cibelae is to guarantee the transparency of lottery activity, assuring the public that trusts gambling entities that the funds collected are used for the benefit of society as a whole.
The Prevention of Money Laundering and the Financing of Terrorism is an essential component to achieve this end and prevent the sector from being used by criminal organizations as a source or channel of funds of illicit origin.
“We will also address the World Lottery Association Security Control standard (WLA-SCS:2020), developed by the WLA Security and Risk Management Committee (SRMC), guarantee of trust towards its clients regarding the security and integrity of operations, services and products,” the organization said.
