Countdown begins for GAT Expo Cartagena 2024

(Cartagena).- Less than three weeks before GAT Expo Cartagena, on April 9, 10 and 11, the organization shares the progress it will present in conferences with international guests from Paraguay, Mexico, Peru, Argentina and the Dominican Republic, in addition to the central role of Coljuegos as an authority and the innovative agenda proposed by Colombian unions, companies and certification laboratories.

International academy will precede the commercial exhibition at GAT Expo.
The impact of artificial intelligence in the entertainment sector will be discussed by Caracol TV's LUMO Media Lab, in a panel shared with experts on the evolution in the production of new games and the incorporation of technologies that provide security, stimulation and confidence to the player. , in terms of lotteries and online games from Peru and Argentina.
For the first time, the GAT Academy on April 9 includes in its contents a panel that the Women's Gaming Association, ASFEG, has titled "Empowering the industry with equity as a challenge", with the participation of leading women in the sector in different countries from Latin America.
“The academic agenda will have representation from regulators from Colombia, Paraguay and Argentina, from the Colombian associations Asojuegos, Fecoljuegos, Fedelco and Cornazar, Dominican Association of Gaming Casinos and National Association of Sports Banks of the DR, AIEJA from Mexico and SONAJA from Peru . In total, we will have the participation of around 35 top-level speakers,” comments José Aníbal Aguirre, CEO of GAT. “The purpose is to advance the internationalization of the event, incorporating groups and professionals that contribute to forging a regional community integrated in goals and objectives.”
The day's programming also includes a round table called: “How to promote betting on eSports in Latin America”, with prominent participants, led by José Aníbal Aguirre with the presence of recognized communities of gamers such as the Colombian Federation of Electronic Sports, Fedecolde, the Association of eSports Clubs, Race Ring, Liga Elite and BetPLay executives.
The organizers continue to develop the idea already raised and put into practice in previous events of promoting electronic sports and their professionalization and this is how, in addition to the academic component on this particular topic, GAT eSports in its second edition in Cartagena de Indias, will bring together best of this vertical in Colombia with four tournaments: Valorant, Counter Strike, soccer and motorsports that, for the first time, will be experienced on the GAT Arena stage, on April 10 and 11 with a spectacular montage of technology, light and sound.
It is traditional that, every year, within the framework of GAT Expo in Cartagena, the Colombian unions, Asojuegos, Fecoljuegos Cornazar, hold general assemblies or boards of directors with the assistance of their associates. In these meetings, they analyze their performance as spokespersons before the government and society, in their role as drivers of development of the sector, agreeing on their next objectives for the current year. The attendance of the lottery directors and managers of the Colombian Lottery Federation, Fedelco, is also confirmed.
The opening of the exhibition in stands in the Santa María A and B rooms is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10 and will continue until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 11.
