EFCO introduced its gaming logic boxes at Juegos Miami

(Miami, Exclusive SoloAzar).- Ron Mazza, CEO of EFCO Technology Corporation, granted an interview to SoloAzar during Juegos Miami. As it was the debut of the company at the show, he gave his impressions and commented about the products that the firm presented there. “In US, we are probably the fastest growing land based logic box supplier in North America,” he said.
“We have established in 1992. We started building products for other companies and then we started to enter into embedded computing technology, and seven years ago, we entered into the gaming industry, where we supply gaming logic boxes to land-based slot machine manufacturers worldwide,” said Mazza.
“It is our first time at Juegos Miami. We are doing very well in other territories and this is a territory that I particularly like to travel to and visit. I really like the customers; they become more like family, so what we are showing today is EMD-based computers and Intel-based computers; it’s a range from the low-end, CPUs after the high-end. It comes equipped with all the security features that you need for a regulated market, and we show the customers how to use it, and, as it is a regulated market, it needs additional security,” he added.
When asked about the importance of participating at this show, he commented: “We gain exposure to potential partners, develop relationships and understand the market. Each culture is a little different, each country has its own regulatory agency, so we are trying to meet the heads of those to better understand how we can work together with them.”
When consulted if the firm is trying to enter to the Latin American market, he answered: “Yes, this is the beginning.”
With regard to the recent edition of Juegos Miami, he pointed: “It could have been done a bit differently. When I first saw the floor plan there were a lot more spaces for exhibitors, so it’s about 1/3 the size. However, the receptions that they had in the evening, and the breakfast and lunch we were able to meet very important people to our future. So maybe the show would have more receptions. The best thing is that the people here are really friendly. They are decision makers.” “ We go to ICE, we go to G2E. But this is the first event targeting a specific region,” he concluded.
