´Expectations were positive and results have been even better´: José Ignacio Ferrer, EXPOJOC
⏱ 2 min read
(Valencia, SoloAzar Exclusive).- A few days before the end of its eighth edition, José Ignacio Ferrer García, Founder and Director of EXPOJOC, spoke with SoloAzar about the most outstanding topics of the event. “EXPOJOC is taking giant steps to be the reference event in Spain for face-to-face and online gaming. And this year we have shown it again”, he commented.
How has been the production and organization process of this new edition?
It has been an arduous and laborious process. This year the ban on events has been opened after two courses without calls due to the pandemic. It has caused them to focus on a few months and, together with the fact that many companies are still coming out of a difficult economic time after COVID-19, has made everything much more difficult.
What have been the highlights of the event and what results did you get?
EXPOJOC is taking giant steps to be the reference event in Spain for face-to-face and online gaming. And this year we have shown it again. Bringing 13 companies dedicated to the igaming business. We also want to be a bridge between Europe and Latam and we have started with a presentation on the regulation of new online markets in Latin America. The expectations were good and the results have been better. A good level of attendance, unbeatable conferences and an outstanding group of exhibitors.
What can you tell us about the conferences that were held?
Regulatory compliance, security and new trends were some of the topics of the conferences. We look for topics that are little addressed in our sector at the national level, in addition to others that deal with different markets. And that they are demands by the professionals of the industry.
The choice of speakers is always based on their extensive experience and knowledge and their determined support for the event. We consider that these topics that they mention, together with the rest of the conferences, required a more in-depth treatment by great specialists. We are very grateful to all the exhibitors. The biggest and the smallest. Those who have been coming for years or those who debut. In short, EXPOJOC wants to be an event where everyone has a place with a high level of visibility.
According to his words, EXPOJOC wants to be a bridge between Europe and Latam. Can you expand on the decision that Latin America is one of the protagonists of the fair?
In the end, language unites us, a fundamental variable for doing business. Many Spanish businessmen – who want to grow and cross borders – look for investment opportunities in Latin America not only because of their language affinity but also because of their sectoral affinity. I believe that EXPOJOC and Valencia specifically, can be a forum for rapprochement between both cultures and a link for these companies.
