Galaxsys and the promising Latin American market: reflections after SBC Summit Rio
⏱ 2 min read
(Rio de Janeiro, SoloAzar Exclusive) - Days after the conclusion of the SBC Summit Rio, Teni Grigoryan, Head of Sales Department at Galaxsys, gave an interview to SoloAzar, to comment on her experience at the recent exhibition. Teni highlighted the great opportunity to make new relationships and partnerships and also spoke about the promising outlook for the Latin American gaming market, following the recent gaming regulatory legislation in Brazil.
Teni Grigoryan, Head of Sales at Galaxsys, told us that the company's main focus during the event was to establish links with operators, platforms and aggregators that could integrate its games.
"The best thing about the fair was having the opportunity to meet local companies, which are more difficult to reach through the internet, and those we were already in contact with: we had the great opportunity to improve our relationships and to discuss and set the business development plan together," said Teni.
She added with enthusiasm and satisfaction: "I can proudly say that Galaxsys already covers most of the Brazilian market and that we saw our games in the demos of many operators' booths, which shows that our content is well known and widely accepted by the market players.
Regarding the Brazilian market, Teni said there is great potential due to its size, and the recent legislative move to regulate sports betting. The head of sales at Galaxsys reflected: "The Latin American continent in terms of its size, population and economic growth will be an attractive region for both operators and B2B providers. She added: "I could see Brazil as one of the largest markets in Latin America."
Despite being busy with previously scheduled meetings, and not being able to attend all the presentations and conferences that Summit Rio had to offer, she appreciates the possibility of having been able to establish strategic contacts.
To conclude, Teni gave us her vision for the future of the gaming industry in Latin America: "Galaxsys' portfolio of more than 30 games is already proving popular with local operators and players. Therefore, from a commercial perspective, the market has all the indicators for future growth of Galaxsys' products and services".
She concluded with the following observation regarding the Latam market and its regulation: "As for the future, there is likely to be more regulation as countries consider options around regulatory frameworks, player protection and tax revenues. Latin America's diverse populations have a passion for sports, sports betting and leisure gambling, and that demand will increase over time, so robust regulation is needed to expand the market."
