GAT Cartagena Presents Official Agenda with Strong Institutional and Business Support

With 26 years of experience organizing B2B events, GAT Events presents a program focused on three components: regulatory updates, technological innovation with booth exhibitions, and world-class networking for effective business development in an ideal environment.

GAT Expo Cartagena 2025 General Program Academic Agenda, Monday, April 28 (9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.)

The opening of the event will be led by the host regulator, Coljuegos, an entity that will highlight regulatory advances and public policies in Colombia, a leading country in Latin America.

GAT organization confirms the participation of the Gaming Commission of the Government of Puerto Rico, headed by its Executive Director, as the invited international government authority. The conference and panel program will also feature representatives from Colombian associations Asojuegos, Cornazar, Fecoljuegos, and Fedelco, as well as international organizations such as CIBELAE (Ibero-American State Lottery Corporation), AIEJA (Association of Licensees, Operators, and Suppliers of the Entertainment and Gambling Industry in Mexico), SONAJA (National Gaming Society of Peru), Colombian Official eSports, and the Colombian Olympic Committee (COC).

This will strengthen the exchange of best practices and regional inter-institutional cooperation in the entertainment industry and foster public-private relations. The participation of global brands with interests in Latin America, such as Pragmatic Play, Altenar, BetConstruct, GLI, Amusnet, IGT Play Digital, CreedRoomZ, Golden Race, Mobadoo, and Kiron, among others, confirms the importance of GAT Expo as a strategic platform for regulatory analysis, multilateral dialogue, and the projection of new technologies and business opportunities in Latin America and the Caribbean.

José Aníbal Aguirre, CEO of GAT, explains: “We have built the academic agenda by addressing the concerns and suggestions of its stakeholders, giving utmost importance, in addition to regulatory issues, to the arrival of new businesses such as Racing and Virtual Sports Betting (ACDV), which have a promising future, and to e-sports betting, a vertical that is making a significant impact in Colombia and is already a milestone worldwide as an Olympic discipline. E-sports have recently been regulated in our country by a law of the Republic.”

On Monday evening, the exclusive Networking Event "Sailing Towards New Connections" will take place, a nautical tour of Cartagena Bay, ideal for expanding the Latin American gaming community in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

On Tuesday morning, April 29th, Fecoljuegos and Cornazar will hold their general assemblies within the framework of GAT Expo. This trade fair component reinforces Cartagena's position as a regional hub for consensus-building and integration of the business ecosystem.

Trade Show - Tuesday, April 29th and Wednesday, April 30th (2:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.)

The ribbon-cutting ceremony inaugurating the exhibition booths is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29, and will be attended by authorities, personalities, special guests, sponsors, and exhibitors from GAT Expo Cartagena 2025.

The Colombian Olympic Committee (COC) and the Colombian Official eSports (COE) will announce their partnership with Gaming & Technology Expo at this venue to promote the professional development of esports in Colombia and Latin America, with a view to achieving significant inclusion internationally, based on legislation incorporating them into the National Sports System.

Leading companies from both land-based and online verticals will be present at interactive booths, showcasing specialized solutions, platforms, hardware, software, and services. The fair will include networking areas, immersive experiences, and spaces for live demonstrations.
