GAT Events arrives in Brazil for the first time

The first edition of GAT in Brazil: July 29 and 30

Gaming & Technology Expo confirms the official launch event of its arrival in Brazil, which will take place at the emblematic Jockey Club in São Paulo, a stage that reflects the synergy between art, culture and tradition linked to the gaming universe and that will serve as a meeting point to present the expansion of the GAT Events circuit to the Brazilian and Latin American industry.

The inaugural edition in Brazil represents GAT's arrival in a market that, after a year of regulation, is now among the five most important in the world. GAT Official Launch Brazil will be the prelude to a more far-reaching event scheduled for the second half of 2027, conceived as an international business hub aimed at institutional dialogue, commercial exchange and the strengthening of links between operators, suppliers, investors and authorities in the iGaming, online casinos and sports betting ecosystem.

For its arrival in the Brazilian market, Gaming & Technology Expo has an important strategic alliance with Azul Play, a company with two decades of experience in the organization of corporate events and multisectoral business fairs in Brazil and other countries in the region, in addition to the support of World Gaming Business as a media partner, a brand linked to global benchmark events such as ICE Barcelona and iGB. The union with these organizations strengthens GAT's international positioning, expands its connection with the Brazilian market and brings the project closer to the main global references in the industry.

For two days, GAT Official Launch Brazil will bring together industry leaders in São Paulo, Latin America's largest financial center, in an exclusive gathering designed to promote networking between high-level executives, strategic conversations and real business opportunities.

GAT Brazil Ambassadors

A select group of specialists invited by GAT Events has agreed to lead the programming of conferences and panels. With extensive experience, consolidated track record and significant contributions to the development of the gaming and betting industry, these professionals will assume the role of ambassadors and spokespersons for GAT in Brazil.

On July 30, these leaders will lead academic conferences and panels with the purpose of turning experience into vision, knowledge into strategy and meetings into new opportunities for the future of the industry in Brazil.

  • Neil Montgomery, Founder and Managing Partner Montgomery Associates
  • Amilton Noble, CEO of Hebara
  • Bárbara Teles, Co-founder of AMIG
  • Ricardo Magri, Co-founder of Ebac
  • Plinio Lemos Jorge, President of ANJL
  • Bruno Omori, President of IDT-CEMA

The CEO of GAT Events, José Aníbal Aguirre, highlighted the relevance of the involvement of these personalities for the arrival of the brand in the country:

"The GAT Brazil ambassadors are the cornerstone on which we build our arrival in the Latin American giant. I am deeply grateful for your acceptance of our invitation. We are currently defining the topics that will be developed in the conferences and panels planned for this first edition."

GAT Official Launch Brazil Agenda

The programme will begin on 29 July with an exclusive welcome dinner. For this experience, Vicky Barcelona will offer a gastronomic proposal inspired by the Iberian culinary tradition, integrating flavors from Spain and Portugal in a menu designed by chef Edu Bonfim.

On July 30, the formal opening will take place at the Jockey Club of São Paulo, recognized as the largest Art Deco complex in the world, with the participation of special guests and authorities from the sector. The academic agenda will be led by GAT Brazil Ambassadors and other guest speakers, who will address current issues for the industry, including the challenges of online gambling, integrity in sports betting, responsible gaming, strengthening tourism through casino operations, the regulatory evolution of the market and the future of lotteries.

The Closing

To close the program, GAT Events and Azul Play will offer a networking cocktail specially prepared to celebrate GAT's arrival in Brazil, in an experience inspired by the identity, energy and cultural richness of the host country.

With a 27-year history developing B2B meetings for the gaming and betting industry, GAT Events has consolidated a route of meetings that integrates strategic markets in Latin America and the Caribbean, articulating academic agendas, commercial exhibitions and networking spaces aimed at strengthening the sustainable growth of the industry.

GAT Official Launch Brasil will officially open the way to the fair to be held in 2027, a project with which the organization seeks to consolidate in São Paulo an international hub for the gaming, entertainment and technology industry, adapted to the characteristics and needs of the Brazilian market.
