(Cartagena, SoloAzar Exclusive).- More than 3,000 visitors and 67 exhibitors from 45 countries will gather this week at the 25th edition of GAT EXPO. It will be held April 9, 10 and 11 in picturesque city Cartagena de Indias, at Las Americas Convention Center, offering spacious halls with more than 6,000 square meters for exhibitions and conferences.

GAT EXPO 2024 starts tomorrow celebrating its 25th anniversary.

The GAT Expo in Cartagena features an esteemed academic agenda, complete with keynotes, corporate talks, and panel discussions, alongside opportunities for knowledge sharing, professional development, and insights into the Latin American markets and regulatory changes.

This year conferences include interesting themes like the application of artificial intelligence to the world of entertainment, the impact of technology in online gaming and the need to shield the security of the draws with tools that create confidence in the player.

Colombian gaming regulator Coljuegos traditionally endorses the event, contributing its leadership team to each iteration of the Gaming & Technology Expo.

Exclusive networking gatherings are organized for leaders of participating and sponsoring firms, as well as attending operators and business innovators, set against the picturesque backdrop of Cartagena and the Caribbean allure.

Gaming & Technology Expo has the support of the Colombian operators’ associations Asojuegos, Cornazar, Fecoljuegos and Fedelco, which actively participate with their affiliates, both in the academic agenda and in the commercial exhibition.

Important companies such as Novomatic, Land Vegas, GLI, IGT, EGT, EGT Digital, Amusnet, Win Systems, R Franco, R Franco Digital will present its innovative products and solutions for the Colombian and Latin American market.

Complementing the GAT Gaming Week, B2C activities like eSports contests and live poker tournaments are on offer. GAT will include four eSports tournaments, a sporting modality that is increasingly gaining popularity.

On Wednesday, April 10, the curtain will open with the F1 and Valorant championships, the first to be held on the emblematic virtual F1 track and the Valorant one with prizes totaling 10 million pesos.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, April 11, the participants of the efootball tournament, organized by the Colombian Federation of Electronic Sports Fedecolde, will jump into the GAT EXPO arena, in the Santamaría Hall.

“We will be celebrating 25 years of GAT with a Colombian party to be held in the main square of the Las Americas Convention Centre in Cartagena de Indias on Tuesday 9 April, after the end of the academic day. We will present to our guests a sample of folklore, autochthonous dances and traditional music, with typical Cartagena food, Caribbean cocktails and interaction of the attendees with all the artistic part of the party,” founder and creator of GAT Expo, José Aníbal Aguirre, commented to SoloAzar in a recent interview.
