(Cartagena de Indias).- With this closing, GAT Events continues its remarkable 2026 circuit with upcoming stops in Mexico City, São Paulo, San Juan, Bogotá and Santo Domingo, consolidating its presence as a B2B platform for the development of the legal gaming business in Latin America and the Caribbean.

GAT Expo Cartagena 2026 came to an end after a resounding success

The Colombian fair ended with an active commercial operation and tangible results: participation of entrepreneurs from 45 countries, more than 2,500 attendees and a business dynamic that left ongoing closings, direct transactions and new alliances for the development of the Latin American market.

During two days of exhibition, on Wednesday, March 25 and Thursday, March 26, the Las Américas Convention Center operated at full capacity, with manufacturers, operators, technology providers and online platforms fulfilling intensive work agendas.

The Stands

The activity at stands was marked by concrete purchasing decisions. Exhibiting companies reported immediate sales and advanced negotiations, confirming the role of the event as a real buying/selling scenario in the region. Among the outstanding results is the report of Win Systems, whose team in charge of the stand closed the sale of 20 roulettes for a value of more than 4 million dollars. His representative, Cristina Quintero, said: "I am very happy with the results. GAT Cartagena allows us to close high-value deals in a very dynamic environment."

Likewise, the payment platform TumiPay, which participated for the first time as an exhibitor at the fair, highlighted that the positive results of the management achieved, allows them to confirm their decision to join the GAT circuit in the next stops of the current year.

The showroom with an impeccable assembly and excellent creativity in the presentation of products and services, evidenced an integrated ecosystem, with solutions that cover the technological improvements of face-to-face gaming, innovation of online games, platforms for multiple solutions, means of payment, gamification, data analytics and operational optimization tools.

The event opened last Tuesday with an academic agenda in a full-capacity auditorium, which added more than 300 attendees in a conference focused on regulation, regional economy and technological transformation, coordinated by FECOLJUEGOS.

Víctor Arias, vice president for Latin America of Arrise powering Pragmatic Play, highlighted the level of the conferences, and the quality of the content with highly qualified speakers, underlining the relevance of this space as a center of updating for the industry in Latin America.

During GAT Expo Cartagena 2026, the participation of national and international associations reaffirmed the integrating nature of the event and its capacity to convene institutions. The Colombian unions shared the stage with international organizations and associations such as AIEJA from Mexico, ALEA from Argentina, APOJA from Paraguay and SONAJA from Peru, as well as delegations from lotteries and official entities from different countries. This articulated presence allowed for a broad and representative dialogue on the challenges and opportunities of the market, consolidating GAT as a meeting point where regulatory, trade union and business visions from all over the continent converge.

On Wednesday, March 25 in the morning, with the participation of the associates of the FECOLJUEGOS and CORNAZAR unions, the annual assemblies of both organizations were held, in which the issues on the agenda were addressed and the role of the unions as fundamental interlocutors before the National Government was reaffirmed.

From its stand, the Coljuegos team had an active agenda of attention to operators, suppliers and international delegations, resolving regulatory concerns and sharing guidelines on the development of the market, consolidating a space for direct dialogue between the public and private sectors.

Technology at GAT Events is also advancing, which is how exhibitors and sponsors made active use of the official networking application launched with the registration platform, a tool that facilitates the scheduling of appointments and optimizes direct contact and the definition of agendas between buyers and suppliers.

Beyond the academy floor and the exhibition, the networking spaces made it possible to extend business conversations as life experiences, creating direct ties between executives and decision-makers. The social agenda of GAT Expo Cartagena 2026 had one of its most memorable moments in the networking event held at Las Terrazas del Claustro of the Getsemaní Convention Center, sponsored by BetPlay. In a relaxed and authentically Caribbean atmosphere, attendees shared to the rhythm of a vibrant live local salsa, complemented by the energy of a DJ who kept the dance floor active throughout the night.

José Aníbal Aguirre, CEO of GAT Events, said:
"The results of this edition confirm that the industry is on the move. Cartagena is a space where businesses are activated and where the market finds real opportunities."
