(Cartagena de Indias, SoloAzar Exclusive).- GAT Expo Cartagena 2026 kicks off this Tuesday, March 24, at the Las Américas Convention Center, launching three days of academic sessions, exhibition, and networking that will bring together more than 2,500 gaming industry executives from across the region.

GAT Expo Cartagena 2026 opens its doors with a strategic agenda focused on innovation, business, and regulation

Cartagena de Indias becomes the epicenter of the gaming industry in Latin America starting today with the opening of the 27th edition of GAT Expo, a trade show consolidated as a benchmark for the land-based ecosystem and a key platform for showcasing technological solutions applied to both land-based and online gaming.

The event, which will run through March 26 at the Las Américas Convention Center, will feature the participation of operators, suppliers, regulators, and associations from across the region, in an environment designed to drive business, analyze trends, and strengthen strategic partnerships.

With more than 2,500 C-level executives confirmed, the exhibition will offer a wide portfolio of products and services aimed at the modernization of large-scale casinos, medium and small gaming venues, as well as digital platforms.

An agenda structured around three pillars

The GAT Expo Cartagena 2026 program is built around three main pillars: knowledge, commercial interaction, and networking.

The opening day this Tuesday will focus on the GAT Academy, organized together with Fecoljuegos and led by its president, Evert Montero. From 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., experts, authorities, and industry leaders will discuss regulation, technological innovation, and market outlooks in Latin America and beyond.

In the afternoon, networking will take center stage with the traditional catamaran event across Cartagena Bay, an informal setting that serves as a key opportunity to build connections and strengthen relationships among attendees.

Wednesday, March 25, will be focused on commercial activity. Following the annual assemblies of industry associations such as Cornazar and Fecoljuegos, the exhibition floor will open, where leading companies such as Novomatic, Pragmatic Play, Aristocrat, and Merkur Gaming will showcase their latest innovations in products, systems, and platforms.

The day will conclude with the “Welcome & Connect” event in the city’s historic center, reinforcing the social component of the gathering.

Finally, on Thursday, March 26, the second exhibition day will take place, aimed at continuing meetings and finalizing business deals initiated the previous day.

An event with international projection

GAT Expo Cartagena will feature the حضور حضور حضور of regulators such as Coljuegos, the Nevada Gaming Commission, and LOTBA, along with associations such as ALEA, AIEJA, and Fecoljuegos, as well as specialized legal firms and a broad representation of technology companies and operators.

José Aníbal Aguirre, CEO of GAT Events, highlighted the event’s sustained growth and regional reach: “GAT Expo Cartagena represents one of the strongest results of this collective effort, consolidating itself as a circuit that spans South America, the Caribbean, and North America.”

In addition, the event will receive coverage from national and international media, while GAT Magazine will capture key moments each day with a professional audiovisual team.

With a comprehensive proposal that combines education, business, and networking in a strategic environment, GAT Expo Cartagena 2026 begins today as one of the key events on the global gaming industry calendar.
