(Mexico City).- Following the success of last night’s welcome reception at Casino Big Bola, today at 10 AM the fourth edition of GAT Expo CDMX opened its exhibition stands, gathering Mexico’s gaming ecosystem and C‑level executives from 25 nations at the Expo Santa Fe convention center.
Ribbon cut and sponsors
Although the exhibition floor opened early, the most anticipated moment will be the official ribbon‑cutting ceremony at 12:00 noon, attended by Fadlala Akabani Hneide, Undersecretary of Government of Mexico City, representing the local authority. He will be joined by leaders of Mexico’s gaming industry, license holders and operators affiliated with AIEJA, association executives, and business delegates from sponsoring and partner brands including Pragmatic Play, Aristocrat, Prometeo IT, Betconstruct, Big Bola Casinos, Merkur, Betby, GLI, and Gamanza.
At the same time, ALEA will deliver modules of the professional course “Transforming Casino Management Toward an Omnichannel and Comprehensive Entertainment Model.” Registration for this academic component of GAT Mexico is already closed due to strong demand and the quality of its content, which will run for 8 hours today and tomorrow, May 14.
The academic agenda also features corporate conferences: Gamanza will present insights on behavioral gamification; BETBY will showcase marketing strategies tailored for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup; José Carlos Figueroa of GLI Laboratories will deliver a talk titled “Innovation and Certification”; and Colombia’s ByAds agency will address marketing strategies that blend creativity with data‑driven advertising.

Commercial exhibition
The commercial exhibition highlights technological advances, trends, and content across both land‑based and online verticals, as well as developments in payment methods, equipment, advertising strategies, marketing, and more. Brands such as Amusnet, Eeze, Kandupay, BPC (Smart Vista AGE), Oklahoma, Oracle, Profix Technologies, Bingazo, TumiPay, SINTOLED, Fininvest, BYA Group, BYADS, Pronto Paga, Cerus Academy, Great Games, KLU, Mentor Bet, Creator Tech Co, Dragon Slaugther, among others, are present at this edition in Mexico City.
A key commercial highlight is Merkur Gaming, presenting at Expo Santa Fe its Modex Jcurve cabinet with new titles Wild Temple and Dimension Link, as well as the Dragor multi‑game package in the Max Trio cabinet, offering its full portfolio to the regional market.
From booth A49/A52, Prometeo IT will showcase the latest solutions, technology, and tools to optimize operations, strengthen control, and drive growth for land‑based and online casinos, ensuring regulatory compliance without compromising business agility.
Today’s program will conclude at 5:00 PM with a networking lunch at Central Central restaurant, featuring a gastronomic experience and the official presentation of the IV Golf & Gaming Tournament, a corporate social responsibility initiative supporting the SUMA and Criantia foundations, promoted by GAT Events since last year.
José Aníbal Aguirre, CEO of GAT Events, stated: “Mexico once again confirms why it is a decisive market for the gaming industry in the continent. In this fourth edition of GAT Expo CDMX, we see the true ecosystem of the sector gathered: major license holders, leading operators, technology manufacturers and providers, platforms, payment systems, certification labs, associations, and global brands that are shaping the future of this economic sector. This is the snapshot that reveals the heart of gaming in Mexico—the real capacity for decision‑making, investment, transformation, and sustainability of the market. That is why we are betting seriously on Mexico.”
The program continues on Thursday, May 14, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, completing two days focused on business networking, supply and demand, technological exhibition, executive updates, and the presentation of new developments for the Latin American market.
