Issues such as the return of players to the casino, the proliferation of sports betting and online gaming websites and the sustainability of land-based gaming will be considered in depth. The needs and special requests that will be raised to the regulators and governments, referring to graduality or lower taxes to try to balance the losses generated by the crisis, as well as strategies to make available to the regulator the effective control of informal virtual operations are also included in the agenda of this panel in which the directors of federations and associations from Colombia, Peru, Mexico and Argentina will participate. Another point on the academic agenda of GAT Virtual Expo will be the discussion of the execution of face-to-face fairs in the current circumstances and the emergence of hybrid events that integrate the virtual with the personal meetings, today a mandatory modality being implemented by convention centers and organizers of congresses, symposiums and other events. The participation of Ana María Arango and Paula Quintero, representatives for the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry for Latin America has been confirmed. They will present their considerations about face-to-face fairs in the short and medium term.

In this regard, Jose Anibal Aguirre, General Director of 3A Producciones, says: "We are very interested in this topic since we have been positioning for more than 20 years a physical fair for the gaming industry. In view of the restrictions for events that gather public and the closing of air borders, we quickly reacted with the creation of GAT Virtual Expo and the choice of a platform according to the class and quality of our exhibitors to meet again. As constructors and contributors of the MICE meeting industry, we wish to know the position of other fair organizers, share our experience and listen to the projections of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry in this matter. From now on, even without the pandemic, things will never be the same again. The virtual is here to stay and live with the face-to-face meetings of the wonderful industry that gives us so much satisfaction. In fact, our idea is to continue learning and doing top virtual events and to carry out, according to the new normality, Gaming & Technology Expo, ending April 2021, in Cartagena de Indias and finishing the year with another face-to-face event in Bogotá".

The next item on the agenda will be the Manufacturers and Operators Panel. The conceptual axis is to discuss the current situation, affectations, perspectives of the relationship between suppliers, products and operators of localized and online games.

Likewise, the great exhibitors of the traditional trade shows of America and Europe, will have the opportunity to analyze the return of the presential fairs and the experience that they live in the digital world that has been forced. The moderators of this panel will be Max Bauer and Manuel del Sol from Novomatic and José Aníbal Aguirre and Lida María Roldán from 3A Producciones.  This panel concludes the first day of the academic agenda on the VirtWay platform.

It is worth noting that at the end of each day, in a special scenario for networking, the allies Penta Marketing, 3A Producciones, Soloazar and Team Seven will offer show rooms and virtual  B2C bingo.
