GAT Expo prepares for its upcoming edition in April
⏱ 3 min read
(Bogota, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Less than two months for the beginning of GAT Expo Gaming & Technology, its General Director José Anibal Aguirre talked about the organization of the following edition, the novelties and its recent participation on ICE London, among other issues. The Academy will be held April 21-22, and the exhibition on April 23-24, from 15 pm until 21 p.m.
How are you preparing the future edition?
This year's edition has had a very radical change in its name, its image, its location, and we have prepared primarily to make an international call from a new place in Colombia, say on the theme of the organization of the traditional event that was held in Bogota, and we hope to attract the visit of new and international operators to our event. That is the preparation we are having two months from the event; we are focused primarily on this goal.

What are the main novelties for this edition, on top of the change of venue?
The most important thing to highlight is the wealth of content we offer to our exhibitors and our visitors; contents never seen before in fairs in the continent, at least without antecedents as far as the accomplishment of a week of the game with training days, with an exhibition, with meetings for operators, with round tables for business, with corporate conferences, with networking events on new topics such as affiliation. The two days of training, two days before the expo, are for a very select group of entrepreneurs. Also within the dynamics of the fair, logically, a welcome party for all our customers. So we have interesting programming and content so that people can visit us and find not only a place of training and doing business, but also rest.
What activities did you do in the latest ICE show, and where did you have your booth?
Thanks to the invitation we have annually from Clarion to be in its exhibition, and the cooperation, marketing and communications agreements established between the two organizers, we were able to be present at ICE London on this occasion in the main hall of the exhibition, where we had a presence that attracted attention, since there were many visitors approaching to ask if there was any relationship between the FADJA fair and GAT Expo. They confirmed their interest in attending, then there was a presentation in society of our new brand GAT Expo with a very good reception in ICE, the number one event in the world. We are very satisfied with this presentation, as a launch or preamble of what will be the event in Cartagena. This was the summary of what happened in London, where we were able to contact many people from Latin America.
Who are the main sponsors confirmed so far?
At this time I can announce the sponsorship of the SBTech Premium Sponsor; this is the first time this important brand of sports platforms in Europe comes to Latin America. SBTech is well known in Malta and throughout Europe due to its operations, its platforms, and business proposals for online games. As a Platinum Sponsor we have the main online betting operator in Colombia, BetPlay, we also have Novomatic, one of the world's leading gaming technology companies, Pixelo, an Italian company that offers its products and services in South America for the first time, and has a versatile and secure platform with all the elements for continuous improvement in sports betting operations, and Zitro, recognized worldwide with its casino slot machines. They also accompany us as Digital Sponsors: Win Systems / Gold Club, Betgenius and WorldMatch. These brands have associated their products to the event, in some cases with stands and in others with their own branding products at the fairgrounds.
What else would you like to highlight?
All the most important online gaming companies will assist at GAT Expo. This is a strategically located trade show for operators from Central America and the Caribbean, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, to attend. We have a wide variety of offers and content so that these Central American and Caribbean operators can not only train, but also do business, and why not, think about some regulations or laws. We are making a very special invitation to them.
