The event will mark the closing of the GAT Events 2025 Circuit, with a session of knowledge and debate addressing key topics such as regulatory updates, technical compliance, digital transformation, responsible gaming, and corporate sustainability, consolidating the Dominican Republic as a strategic market and a regional benchmark for its diversity and regulatory progress in the Caribbean and Latin America.

At the inaugural ceremony, David Moniz, president of the Dominican Association of Gaming Casinos (ADCJ); Juan Antonio Del Jesús, president of FENABANCA; Yamile Gutiérrez, director of GAT Santo Domingo and partner at G&G Studio Legal; and José Aníbal Aguirre, CEO of GAT Events, will welcome authorities and international delegates.

Regional Dialogue and Legal Evolution

The first panel, “From the Caribbean to the Andes: Regulatory Advances in the Region”, will be moderated by Edgar Pagán, Deputy Executive Director of the Puerto Rico Gaming Commission, and will feature Marco Emilio Hincapié (President of Coljuegos, Colombia), Adams Pérez (Puerto Rico Gaming Commission), and Yamile Gutiérrez (G&G Studio Legal). The experts will analyze challenges and opportunities for learning and improvement among related markets.

Dominican Industry: Vision and Challenges

The second block, “Casinos RD: Vision 2025–2026”, led by David Moniz, brings together executives from IGC, a local manufacturer of slot machines and roulettes, Empresas EE Edmon Elías, and Comar Dominicana, who will discuss investment, sustainability, and competitiveness of the land-based sector within the island’s gaming ecosystem.

Subsequently, the panel “Current Situation and Draft Gambling Law RD” will convene key stakeholders from ADCJ, ADOBAD, FENABANCA, and Cambridge International Consulting to examine the legislative update process aimed at modernizing and ensuring transparency in gaming in the Dominican Republic.

Compliance and AML/CFT Prevention

The segment “Legal and Compliance Challenges in the Games of Chance Sector”, moderated by Yamile Gutiérrez, will gather specialists from Vásquez & Asociados (Colombia), Breeze Management, and Juancito Sport (Dominican Republic) to analyze the application of AML standards, operational traceability, and corporate ethics.

Trends in Online Gaming and Betting

The program will continue with a conference by GLI, delivered by José Carlos Figueroa, on “Technical Compliance in Online Gaming: From Regulation to Operational Efficiency.”

Next, the panel “Online Entertainment, Sports Betting, and Casino”, led by Víctor Arias (Pragmatic Play), will bring together executives from Juancito Sport, Betcris RD, Betby, and Breeze Management, who will share valuable strategies on loyalty, user experience, and responsible marketing.

The session on “Latest Trends and Technologies in Sports Betting” will be moderated by Gustavo Sánchez (Breeze Management) and will feature executives from Digitain and Lotobet, presenting cutting-edge solutions for this globally significant vertical.

Responsibility and Digital Transformation

In the second part of the day, Maritza del Rosario (MR Enterprise) will deliver the conference “Responsible Gaming as a Tool for Reputation and Corporate Sustainability”, focusing on the industry’s social role.

Following this, Óscar Calderón (Barna Management School) will present the conference “Creating Value in a Digital World”, inviting companies in the sector to rethink their models of innovation and leadership.

The academic closing will be the panel discussion “The Universe of Virtual Betting: Products, Audiences, and Trends”, with the participation of Soll Systems, Raza Carreras, Digitain, and Golden Race, moderated by Francisco Garibaldi Pavonessa (RD Horse Racing Commission).

Finally, Juan Pablo Barahona (Betby) will present “AI in Virtual Betting”, offering a forward-looking vision of artificial intelligence and its impact on the personalization of digital entertainment.
