The Dominican Republic has established itself as one of the most complete and active gaming ecosystems in the Caribbean, with the simultaneous presence of land-based casinos, lottery outlets, sports betting shops, online gaming platforms, and state and private operators.

The legal gaming industry currently generates over 100,000 direct and indirect jobs, and the regulatory body continues to strengthen its technological modernization, with real-time digital oversight processes and greater regulatory traceability to protect players and ensure operational transparency for its licensees.
